Greetings All,
I was wondering if there have been sightings of counterfit Bubblebags & more specifically if the ones in the picture below can be verified as authentic.

Much Thanks

Ya those labels look like they were made in the same place. Peace GS

It wouldn't surprise me what so ever....Can you give some info on where you bought them and how much? Normally if the deal is too good to be true, than it probably is....My girlfriend just bought some dinner plates she liked and then we found it they were counterfeit...So I think just about EVERYTHING of even small value will be and is counterfeited. The thing is I wouldn't really care so much as long as I didn't have to pay the authentic price.

the WORST thing is that the person who sewed that together probably makes something like $2 a day, and will work all week, sleeping on the floor, and eating bread and soy, just to make $10 to take home for the weekend. (which is also probably a 15 mile walk away)

please don't buy things made with slave labor, like every fucking sweat shop in Nepal.

ok, but yeah, those look "genuine"

My 220 bag is a darker blue and has a white drawstring, as opposed to the yellow in your picture. Don't know if one of ours are 'knockoffs' or more than likely just change due to material availability, etc.

So you would rather she didn't have the $10 to bring home? Yeah that makes sense.

i just checked out my original set of bubblebags i bought through the site.. meaning they are authentic Bubblebags.. and my label says... Bubblebags (and a smaller tag saying made in nepal) on them..

my bags are the original style 73 bags with the different material used.. kind of like spandex type.. my 25 bag also is a different type. very thin material, and is purple color... takes like 20 minutes to drain (10 if you know the trick)...

I can drain the 25 bag in 12 shakes, maybe 10 seconds. Those strings are not for hanging the bags full. Peace GS

yep hanging or squeezing will just ruin the bag quickly, stress the seams, etc.

a good trick (along with the jerk / shake) is to smack the bottom of the mesh with your hand repeatedly - like burping a baby... will drain very quick. You'll have a cold hand but the bags will remain in good condition and you won't be waiting hours.

Where are bubbleman's bags made?

Does Bubbleman advertise on this site?

All respect

Nepal.

No, but he's a moderator of this forum and has been known to censor or delete reviews or posts of other non-advertising competitors - so indirectly, yes.

Oh good, that is good to know. I will be careful not to say anything about my opinions then.
