how to know?

yea my problem is this...
one time when i went from some woods,a guy that knows i grow saw me,and now i dont know if he went looking into the forest or not...he will probably go look for them and then rip them when they are biger,so how can i know if he wound my growplace or not,can i put some traps(not like hurting them) to be 100% sure some1 has benn on my place?

just set up little branches leaning on other branches, trail some fishing line or thread around see if it moves. if you can watch mantracker he shows some excellent things to notice. next time don't come out the same way either

yea i thought of the same things but the thing is...it can be animals doing all tht...and i dont want to move 30plants because of animals...

Mantracker is a television show where a tracker sets of to find two people who are trying to elude him, They get a head start and he just sets off in their general direction and tracks them down. he does this by footprints, broken twigs etc He shows exactly what to look for and often explains the difference between human and animal spoor. Spoor being the indicators that something was here

String a line of thread around your plot, branches like said before, deer-hunting camera's, ect... Be creative. The thing is finding out that he knows, without him knowing you found out he knows. That will keep him from rushing to remove your plants before you get the chance.

On a side note... why does he know you grow. Rule #1 is tell nobody.

you could get a trail camera. they are intended for hunting.
its a camera that will take pictures or video when it sees motion. some have infared.
they cost $2-300

if you can afford one do that, and set it up somewhere kind of close to the entrance, like where he saw you, but maybe a little further in. then you could always check the camera first, and if its clear continue to the grow. this one has a screen so you can check it there

Why does he know you grow?

Pay very good attention to the surroundings of your plot next time you visit. Are branches broken? How are they broken? In what direction? Footprints? How is the vegetation pushed down? Is it a way that an animal (only big one around would be deer) passed through or a human.

Pretend you're Sherlock Holmes...

Or leave 5 bucks there on the ground. If it's gone next time. Sure as shit he found the plot...

well i dont have the money but i will try to secure one of my own camera and hid it in the woods near my plants,so if he ewer found it i will know...
well he doesnt know,but he suspects(saw me with some soil,...)and now that he saw me come outa the woods im afraid he will go rip the entire thing...

Actually leaving a few $5 bills on the easiest accessible route to your plot isn't a bad idea... When is the last time you've seen someone leave money sitting on the ground?

But really, I wouldn't bother moving only half because you think they've been found. Might as well move them all because it sounds like your pretty sure that he found them.

So if you move them, move them all and be more careful about who you let see you carrying stuff. Things need to be in bags, and you need to be working in the dead of night when carrying things that you can't really hide (big bags of soil...).

But seriously, if you look around the spot hard enough, you would find evidence of someone being there.

Would be better to leave it in the open, somewhere that you KNOW it will be seen if your plants are discovered. Nobody leaves money sitting on the ground, especially those who are already planning on stealing plants.

make him your grow partner
if you suspect he may rip you, this is no guarantee in preventing that
depends on the person you're dealing with
but it can reduce the rip risk, he can't pretend he knew nothing about your grow
he will have nothing to gain by informing LE, which has happened from 'grow jealousy'
you get grow help, someone else to watch for ripper risks
but it's a calculated risk, no question of that
