Hey everyone! I'm documenting my first hydro grow, and i'm gonna share it here. I will probably have some questions, and will post all my info to make sure i'm on the right track.

Specs: 2x3 Ebb and Flow table with 8 gallon res, 1 inch of hydroton and 4" rockwool cubes. 600watt air cooled light, circulation fan, vent fan. CO2 is all hooked up (but i haven't started with that yet)

Temp is around 82. Humidity is around 34%. The light is 18" above the canopy, my PH is around 6, and my ppm stays at about 1000. I'm using GH nutes with a 15/10/5ml concentration for vegging. When i start to flower, i'll switch to 5/10/15 concentration.

I started with 16 clones that were about 2 weeks old when i got them, so i will add that onto my grow time. They are 34 days old today... 4 weeks spent cloning/rooting, and so far less than a week under the 600. They are about 10" tall right now. Since i'm doing a SOG, I'm going to change to 12/12 on day 36 so they don't get too big. Max height i can have is 3-3.5 feet.

Now on to the pics.

DAY 34 - TODAY - 6th day under the big light:

The leaves seem a little curled... the pics are from the plant that seems the worst. A couple leaves are looking a little yellow from the veins outwards, but just a few. My PH spiked to 6.8 for a bit, could that be the problem? Any suggestions?

A few questions.... CO2 is heavier than air, so when i start with that, and turn all the fans off, do i turn off the vent fan as well? The vent fan is at the top of my cab, where should the CO2 be dispersed? Top, mid or bottom?

Any comments are appreciated! If anyone can look through my info and give me some tips, or tell me what i could do better that would be awesome.

I'll continue to update with pics, and i'm keeping a journal so i know what to do differently next time. Hydro is a whole lot more fun to grow than soil, in my opinion anyways. Thanks!!

Nice setup buddy.

Only tip I can give is that when your CO2 is being sprayed for 15mins or however long you run it, you want all your exhausting to stop so the C02 can sit.

thanks for the tip! i wasn't sure which fans to turn off... so basically all of them except the light cooling fans.

i also forgot... my watering timer is on for 15 minutes every hour for the first 17 hours of light. is this correct? i've heard some say 15 minutes on every hour for 3 hour intervals. which is better?

i'm hoping my leaves look a little better tomorrow, the ph was high today.

I run an ebb/flow and do SOG as well. I flood 15 minutes every 3 hour and once in the middle of lights off.
