Screwed Up Light Schedule

I have two plants 3 weeks into flowering at the moment. Something went wrong with my timer and my plants accidentally got 14 hours of light instead of 12. My question is will they be ok? I'm flipping the lights on an hour or so later to try and offset the difference a little. How might everything turn out? I just hope that mistake didn't fugg everything up. Somebody let me know. Thanks

I would have just kept the same schedule and corrected the timer. One or two nights shouldn't in most cases cause any issues with only an extra 2 hours of light.

at the end of the day dude what other option do you have than to continue on with the 12/12 and see what happens. i mean they're not going to suddenly drop the flowers and die, the worst i could see happening is that their flowering period is prolonged a little if the hormone balances were upset by the 14 hrs. but also it's not like you randomly exposed them to light in the dark period, or suddenly put them into 20 hrs of day. nature's pretty forgiving so i think you should be ok mate, don't stress and just see what happens i doubt you'll notice anything IMO.

Cool, I should be ok then. I know they won't die because of this, but I was more worried about hermies than anything else. I think I will just keep the schedule the same then. From what you guys say they'll be ok. Thanks for the peace of mind guys. Lets see how it goes...

if you get hermies you'll know it's most likely from stress so it's not in the genotype/genetics so they're still ok to breed with, if you're wanting sinsemilla then you'll still be fine just keep an eye on the buds and if male flowers appear just pull them off before they release pollen. you'll be right :D

Yea I've had issues with my timer in the past... reason I dropped the analog ones and went digital... these ecoplus timer's I use take 20 secs to set.. and come with an internal rechargeable battery which will keep your lighting sched. even thru power loss... But as said before.. couple hour difference over a few days isn't the end of the world.. prob, won't even notice a difference lol.. aslong as you corrected it w/o a HUGE variation in light times.

Yeah its an analog timer that did it. I have a digital timer also, but I guess I'll have to get one more since it is in use already for one light.

You wont get hermies over something like that unless they're genetic hermies and you would have got them anyway.People have hermie phobia lol.Just go back to 12/12 absolutely no harm done you just vegged with the 14/10 photoperiod no foul whatsoever

Cool, I'll be alright then. Now for the wait until harvest time...I guess theres no way to speed that up, and there never wiII be huh.!? LoL
