rotten pot

got some northern lights in the 8th week of 12/12..checked them 2nite. seen a real dark spot on one of the top buds..when i touched the spot(about 1 inch square) the bud was so rotten it fell off the stem..this was part of about a 4 inch bud on very top of plant..i've got 8 more plants in the room so i cut that one down and pit it in the dryin room...checked the other plants very close and they look fine...temp =75, humidity =65...do you have any experience with this?

mold that sucks....bud rot what ever you want to call it... temps are ok but you humidity need to be ATLEAST 10% lower....

I would lower the humidity to below 50% or more will rot.

Yup , they called it. Humidity is your problem. Make sure to get you a dehumidifier.

At night time the humidity goes sky high where I am from so make sure to run your dehumidifier at night as well.

i run my lights at night..havent checked humidity in daytime..thanks a lot fellers..got to get a humidifier..

room is in the middle of house..have a fan on hps bulb(vertical) and big fan in the wall that draws air from outside and blows hot stale air out toward garage......just checked another room of my house that has good ventilation and hygrometer says 51%...hmmm.....i'll probably move plants at lights on at 7 pm

got a dehumidifer today....and i chopped all those plants..too much to lose if it spreads..what is optimum humidity for grow area or dry room?
