New 8x11 Room

Putting together a new room,
Specs:

Biggest room yet @ about 8x11, but about 5x8 actual floor space due to counter tops being there, closed enviro or open enviro with gate valve to exhaust filtered air to the outside dpending on how the temperature control works out and the outside air temps in general.

Will probably keep it closed environment for the intitial grow. Have a bunch of seedlings waiting for me to get the room finished.

Hope people enjoy checking out the pictures as the grow progresses. I have about 4 days (3 now) to complete it and have it running.

Today I bought some bubble foil (reflectix) for the ceiling, a door, the door handle, some 2x4's and furring strips, and some drywall, and put about half of it up. Drywall is 5/8ths, for sound deadening. Oh and some spray foam. I can't do anything without the sparay foam. :)

AC is in, exhausts into another building and can barely be heard outside when its running. Walls are rediculous overkill on insulation, 4 inches fiberglass, 2 inch foam, several layers of boards, air gaps, diamond foil on the outside, then an air gap, another layer of 3/4ths sheathing, and vinyl siding.

Ceiling has 4 inch fiberglass, metal roof, thin sheathing for the actual inside ceiling, and under that I have furring strips and will install the reflectix.

I figure I can get enough for personal use with one grow a year, in the winter to save on AC power but have to grow one during the summer to get stocked up.

Oops, one more pic. Hard to get a good shot in a small space. I have the one window covered with 3/4ths sheathing, behind that and from the outside it looks like a normal window with the shades drawn but slightly open. One of those roll down shades with the roll cut off so I can get the sheathing boards right up against the wall.

Have some spray cans sitting in the windows sill for effect, and board is flat black on the other side. To a cop even standing right outside in broad daylight it looks like a normal window with the shade up a little (about 3-4 inches) and a few cans sitting on the window sill. Obviously no huge light is on in there :)

Brought in the t-5 light, it was undersized for 31 seedlings. (too short)

Getting the rest put together, tested out the 1000 watt metal halide and fixed a million light leaks.

Bought the wrong paint by accident :bashhead: . Somehow got 2 gals off white, had to repaint with some bright white I had, then ran out. Sprayed the paint on, 2 gals sprays on in about 8 minutes and as I was spraying thinking to myself this is the shittiest white paint ever. Took a second look at the label and saw it said Off white.

Still need sunglasses when the 1000 watt light is on. Opted to use the hood without the glass enclosure since its a closed environment. Won't need the big light for a couple weeks. It was getting pushed around a little by the fan so I bungee corded some bricks to give it more weight.

Got the filter up and tested. Doesn't need to be on yet.

Put in a network camera for remote LAN viewing.

Total watts with fan, 24" 4 tube t-5 and 2 28 watt cfl's is about 185 watts, when the AC kicks in it jumps up to about 1300 watts. Luckily the AC doesn't kick in much. Have it set at 75 degrees.

Except for some minor tweaks, (finish painting, outer dust filter on carbon fixture, put 90 degree elbow on carbon fan, set up water trash can and pump, etc...) its about done!

Remote cam. Not very good, but tells me if the lights are on or off, if the temp is high, and if the plants are still there :)
