Most peeps consider the og kush's mostly sativa, not indica..........Bubba, socal master etc..are indica's and would be a true "Kush" plant. But the OG kush's grow tall and lanky, narrow leave's, have quit a bit of stretch..like a sativa. Bubba's have very large leave's, doesn't stretch at all, very tight nodes...like an indica.

When swerve entered the tahoe og kush into the cannabis cup he did it in the sativa catagory didn't he? not sure but it would make sense.

Just throwing that out there.

I agree that it is sativa leaning, but has indica traits. I will take some pictures of the leaves tonight, they are nothing like my pure landrace sativas. They are very indica looking. They are actually the biggest leaves I have ever seen with the widest fingers. She can go 80-90 days like a sativa but can take 1000ppm like an indica. Also the super deep green color of the leaves... That is not a trait of a sativa. If an equatorial plant (sativas) had leaves that dark they would get burnt by the sunlight. That is what makes me think it is a hybrid like I mentioned above, retaining some of those afghani traits (super resinous, dark leaved, lemony, kushy)

As for it stretching and being lanky I have never had that happen with OG. I think a lot of the people growing OG are noobs who are running their rooms at 90 deg and way over feeding, and thats why it gets a bad rep.

I for one not only think there is no kush in the og's, i am in favor of renaming them ogcush...just like green crack is known as cush....here in cali, im not even sure the cuts floating around as master kush are kush...i think they are bubba crosses, which i could see being a kush cross....
as far as stretch, some have more than others...the r cut doesnt seem to have as much as others, and as far as smell i put all of the ogs in one of two catagories: lemon og and body odor og....(just MY personal filing system)..more later... at work..EDIT-sorry, boss walked in w customer-...and i put the r cut into the funky b.o. lemon og catagory...good smoke for sure...

from what i understand the PO cut was leaked out by someone who was doing some work for theCC at the time...

i dont think there much/any "kush" on OG... ive grow valley tahoe larry hells angles...
i can see how chem can be involved in some sense because fo the BO fragrance.... but thats about it.

not that it matters know one will never know the recipe to "make you own og".... even if the folks responsible for the breeding came online and announced the makeup i am positive they woule be flamed as full of shit from one angle or another....

Its true that the Fire cut look like it could have some kush in it, but the SFV? I doubt but with out a DNA test we screwed!! Really and trully IMO CA should have a Cut Cup only. So like this it will make it clearer and less phoney cut will float around.

Now, that will make sense Greyskull...Cause this cut aint that much around. Marlkason this veg pic is beautifull.
