Ukganjafarmer's 220w PLL Grow Thread

Hey cool to see a fellow uk grower on here. Seedlings are looking cool. I read somewhere that you can add a drop of lemon juice to bring the ph down if using tap water, also leave the tap water out for 24 hrs before using it will help let some of the chlorine evaporate. I have no idea if this is any help, don't know what ec even is, I'm doing a soil grow lol

I'll be watching this setup bro. Just started my own little percy (I had a seed sprout its first little tiny taproot today! ) so a few weeks behind you. I was wonderin' where the hell did you find 55w cfls over here? I can only find 20w at homebase/b&q or 125w online.

Tribe, i could not find pll lamps anywhere in uk, i got my bulbs and ballast from ebay and bases/holders from a place called nationallampsandcompenents, hope this helps.

ec is still @ 1.0 (this includes .5 ec from tap water), im debating whether to go any higher or not, any oppinions?

wow wow wow they all r looking great. that is a very nice bushy ladie u haver there.
also the veggie plants r looking really great.

Looking great!

Doesn't look like you have a problem but Ec sounds a bit low. Does your Ec drop or climb between your readings? If it drops it means they could do with a higher concentration.
