High guys
This will be my thread for the 2010 outdoor adventure.
Climate here is quite nice, I grow in the area that has very rich flora and fauna, air is fresh, there is no pollution of any kind and there is enough available water for the dry summer months as my spot is like 50 meters next to a creek that has pure crystal clear water.
Also there is a spring with the best tasting water I've ever tried in my life.
Spending the time in nature gives me energy and health, and when I take care of my plants in my secret garden I enjoy life to the maximum level.
I will go all organic with only guano, using Plagron Peru for growth and early flowering and guano Kalong and molasses for late flowering.
Soil is also rich in nutrients so I'll only add some perlite for better drainage and some good potting soil with fibres, perlite, peat moss and worm castings.
Strains that I will grow:
New Blue Diesel
Satori
8 Miles High
Safari mix
Mandala #1
Also, this list might get expanded as I'm waiting for some more testers (Casey Jones and C99 hybrids, Powerhouse, White Mustang) provided by the kind and respected grower from Denmark in order to create unique outdoor strains for temperate climates. Hi Esbe!
All Mandala seeds are in the ground and waiting for them to sprout.
I've planted Satori, 8 Miles High and Safari mix a bit sooner to check how will they handle the new environment and now they are on their third set of leaves and looking healthy in the ground so I think that the spot is very nice and plants love the environment.
I didn't want to plant early because the weather is quite unstable and night temps are still a bit low, so I'm counting on a bit later sowing that will bring moderately high plants and yields and in this way I can search for plants with the best vigour and resistance to outdoor growing factors.
Aim and objectives:
Aim: To make ultimate outdoor crosses for future grows
Objectives:
To find outstanding mothers that have beautiful smell, taste and potency
To find a vigorous father that is strong, pest resistant and early flowering
To take clones from the best 5 plants and finish them indoor with controlled pollination
To get tasty, smelly, hardy and reliable plants for future outdoor grows that will with the years get used for the outdoor growing conditions.
So that's it for now. Comments are welcome and stay tuned ...
