Hi rocky5,

no, I never cut the apex of the plant, I use a technique calls "palissage" in french, dictionnary says "to pale up" is the translation.

I just use a thin steel cable to take down the apex (the head) of the plant, then I crush this apex and by this way I can get, even with sativas, little bushes with a lot of brenches.
