Best Strain under 50 days?

I agree.
And to say that there are no decent strains under 60 days in flowering are simply not true IMO.Cindy is just one.Sensis Early Skunk is another great strain. And the Apollo (although close to Cindy) is another. Some Skunk#1 can be finish in 55 day(and even 50 days) and is some of the best smoke this world can offer.Great taste too.
I would say that was a bit of a controversial statement.

hey thanks for all the great info and tips! The 50 day thing was not a firm requirement, but would be nice. I was also interested in finding out what the earliest indoor strain is (are all strains under 50 days autoflowering? if not, I'd want to know what the earliest non-AF is, as this could come in handy bred with a potent but later strain. I am sure I am not the first to have thought of that, but I am getting ahead of myself, first I have to get growing and learning before I can breed! :D ), and separate fact from fiction. I heard rumors of 42, 40, even 36 or 38 day strains and wondering if that is bunk or not. thanks

This is just my opinion, but I would keep my hands away from auto flowering genes.Ruderalis has always been something I (and I know many others) have kept away from my gardens. But maybe some future strains with Ruderalis, like say equatorial Sativas, can be made manageable (shorter floweringtime)with it.We will see.
Until that,go after some of the fast indoor strains. Now Cindy is gone (or at least is rare) Sensi do have a few,and you can find others like AK 48(not AK 47) from Nirvana seeds.
A flowering under 45 days sounds almost too good to be true,if there are no auto flowering genes in,so I would watch that. You probably dont come much under 50-55 days with strains that dont have auto flowering genes in.
Best of luck.

I have harvested some haze hybrids buds ( Nl#5Haze x White Russian ) at days 32 ! ...then 60 ....then 90.

three waves of buds fully matured. the strain was vegging at the sun of summer for three months on riviera ba, then put under 600 W HPS. I have heard that pure FLO from DJ has this quality too.

....another point of vue.

another example : 48 days sativa buds cutted...dry on this pic..( two others waves behind ( 70 days and 90 days )

in another words, not only indica strains can give buds rapidly...

Don't go by "expected" maturity date. I've grown White Skunk, it was supposed to be done at 45-50 days...not even close. I've had another 50 day strain go for 100 before it was REALLY done. It's going to be done when it's done...the plant doesn't follow the calender!

Good luck, but be prepared to wait it out if you have to...don't pick too early!!! You'll have wasted your time...you won't be happy. Unless you like a 15 minute high.

I'm just passing on what my experience has been.

ibjamming is correct. I have some Bubblicious that will to finish 85-90 days (expected 63 to 77 days). I would think maturity dates are based on clones from mature mother. From my experience, when grown from seed with a short veg phase, it seems to result in longer flower period.

IceColdCrickets

Apollo 11 original Bros Grimm stock, look for Joey Weeds F2s, for a good example of this strain.

I will have a harvest pic that was taken at day 57 later today. Could have chopped it at day 53 for sure but i like to have more amber trichs, about 40% at day 57. I have seen even faster phenos but this one had the best yeild and the resaon she is still around.

ICC.

I might be disagreed with here, but Haze19xskunk from Nirvana finishes at around 6 weeks. If you take it at six weeks the buds are super clear and almost amphetamine like. I found them to actually lose potency if grown for more than 6.5 weeks. Best strain no one knows about imo.

Feeling good is good enough.

Maybe if you go 10/14 light cycle...

But harvest diminishes a bit and quality suffers in general.

CANNATOPIA

Dense nugs etc

My (and others' here) waited 56+ days for c99 to finish. My earliest was 53 days and it could have gone longer...

Try Double Fun from NoMercy. I love this plant:
-easy to handle
-fast flowering
-excellent stone
-mold resistant (can be grow in- and outdoors almost everywhere)
-only 30€ for 10 seeds

But it's not a heavy yielder

whoa, forgive me for not having time to comment on each post, but every one was informative and great and I thank you for them all!

excellent post, thanks man!
GREEN CRACK HANDS DOWN
where do you get that? Clone-only right? No seed source?
To the person that said some haze hybrids finish in this time period, I would have called BS on this several weeks ago but a close friend here has confirmed what you say, so thanks for the good tip. I have no reason to believe everyone here has not been totally honest and helpful, and I thank you all for your valuable advice. peace

I have a Ray Davies cut C99 and she's done at 45 days with an electric and AMAZING clear super up buzz. Also have the Apollo 13 Gorilla Arm Pheno thats great at 45 days!!!!They are out there bro. I'd grab a pack of Joey Weeds C99 and learn to grow with an inexpensive strain at first!!!! He claims their done at 50...Haven't grown mine YET, but have done several other JW strains and they kick some serious ass!!!!! Were definatly within his time frames too.....

Go get em brother!!!!

I.R....
