possible dealer move in with breeders?

ok so a mate has an issue and wanted to get me to ask the mob on here what they think. he's a breeder/grower hobbyist and lives with a mate who is too, they both have another close friend who wants to move in with them and partake in the fun but seems really keen on growing to sell whereas we're growing for our own use/entertainment only.

i'm guessing as hobbyists it would be really stupid for them to allow a possible grower/dealer to live with them as if he gets done and then as a consequence so do they they'll be fucked by the same long dick of the law as he will, whether or not their intentions were the same.

do you tell him no straight out, and suggest he can move in and can grow but CANNOT sell, and then take his word on it and chance it? or just say no flat out and don't even try just incase he ever did start to sell.

not a good idea. if he might get pissed if ya tell him that he cant move in b/c he might sell then tell him that the extra number of plants = too much jail time if caught.

I would not let him move in. He will probably say he's not going to sell and then sell anyways or just continue saying he's not selling while he's actually just lying. thanks for all the input boys, i agree with you all 110%. i've never been interested in this stuff to make money through commercially growing and selling and want to keep as far away from that shit as possible, so hopefully my friends decide the same thing because yeah if there's one bad apple in the basket soon enough the rest become rotten too.
