Hey Ace,
If it ain't found it ain't illegal...

Paco I dont even see anything in the first picture! The second the pots give it away.

I have a 3 week old black berry kush and I am wondering if I should put it outside in the mix, or if I should put it in a small pot. How big will they get outside?

This kush stays rather stout, I was thinking I could train it low to the ground next to my pumpkins.

When should I put it out? asap or wait til later, I mean we are almost into june so...

Talking to a couple of other CO outside growers, they seem to prefer to wait until either Memorial Day weekend or around the first week of June. Also depends on your altitude. Higher - and you'll need to wait a bit longer, maybe a week or so.

So looks like you need to start getting ready for it to go outside. Might want to start hardening it a bit (put it outside a couple hours a day). If you're going to be planting in the ground, prep the soil thoroughly.

Question - where did you get the BB Kush?

Good luck! And keep us in the loop on how it goes.

I got the BB kush from colorado alternative care down in the springs. Have not yet flowered this strain yet, it just went into flower in my room and this was an extra clone I had. My plan is to get the garden tilled wed or thurs after memorial day then maybe plant sunday into monday. I had my soil tested because I am aiming to grow a huge atlantic pumpkin this year, and the test said a ok other than nitrogen, so I will till in some manure as well as some lime.

I may not be able to take pictures very thoroughly of this because I want it to be as stealth as possible. I am sure I will manage a few though.

The clone is outside has been all day, temps right now are 67 degrees so I am going to leave it outside and in the shade away from full sun for a few days to harden it off.

Thanks for the input and interest!

Paco- where the fuck is waldo???

Ace, i was reading in the O/D forums, and they had some great ideas for stealth. The basic concept is to take some heavy duty chicken wire, or some kind of mesh and cut a hole in the middle of it. Then stake it down in your garden. Take your plant and plant it at a 45 degree angle in the hole you had cut out of the mesh. As the branches begin to stretch keep tying them down to the screen, and they will grow parallel to the ground. Once flowering starts quit tying down the branches and it shouldn't get over 3' tall.

Good luck with whatever you end up doing!

Are you refering to something like an outdoor scrog? I was thinking I will have a border about 3 ft tall around the perimeter of the garden, that way the dogs wont get into it and fertilize it with dog doo doo. It will also help so if anyone does look over the fence they wont see anything below the top of the fencing. I used some green plastic type chicken wire last year and that worked out pretty well, as far as the dogs staying out. I will keep you all posted, clone is outside chilling with a few jalepenos right now, they seem to like the shade as of now.

Exactly. early this spring I put up a cedar fence around my veggie garden to keep my hounds out. But yeah basically an outdoor scrog to keep the plants short, or shorter than say tomatoes corn etc. except that the flowers don't grow through the screen, the branches are kept parallel to the ground by attaching them to the screen.

^There was a post about Leaves of Grass on here and a link to watch it free...

Just search Edward Norton or something and it'll come up. I just watched the 3-min growroom scene... looked kinda lame.

I guess a peaceful flick about a grower is too boring for the masses...had to get some last minute violence in there....seemed unnecessary. The grow room looked on point with the quantum ballasts...but there was no division between veg and bloom spaces, they could of better research than that. I've worked some large grows in my days, so IMO that was no "Taj Mahal of Hydroponics"...eh....and that scene where hes trying to sell off his dead brother's grow equipment and gets shot by the crossbow...WTF? Sell that shit on craigslist....shit that was supposed to be in Oklahoma...drive to Colorado and sell that gear legally...that was my first thought...LOLOL
