Am I going to end up with feminized seeds?

I have a Humboldt female plant that started to herm out on me a few weeks into flowering by producing male banana sacks. We didn't catch it early enough before we finally got it out of the room, but now all the other girls (which are all other strains) are producing seeds now. A caregiver told me they all have female pollen and will end up as feminized seeds. Is this true, and am i going to have a ton of humboldt hybrids with other great genetics in our garden? Or will these plants really just end up as some schwaggy blunt weed?

you'll end up w/ plants that carry the traits of the parents - and if the spunk that got to your girls was from a ladyboy, the offspring will likely be disproportionately female.

the thing about 'carrying the traits of the parents' isn't really a blessing tho - one of those traits that will potentially be in every seed is 'creates nanners in jazzhatter's growroom'.

not saying they couldn't be attempted/sifted thru if you had the time and floorspace, but you'd have to watch them awfully closely.

the bright side: sounds like your girls got spunked early enough for the seeds to at least finish. nothing sucks worse than immature unfinished squishy son-of-a-whore-to-clean seeds.

If the plant hermied under normal conditions there's a chance the off spring will. If you stressed the plant into hermie then the seeds should be ok.

pollinated plants with hermie pollen will not produce female seeds... that is a myth... the caregiver who told you this is mis-informed.

the best one can do about female seeds, is to forget them... imo of course.

that is what you gathered from my post? oh boy... someone needs reading-comprehension lessons...

my points are:

1. you won't get feminized seeds by pollinating a crop with hermies; you will just get hermie-prone seeds.

2. feminized seeds suck anyway.

get it?

you are free to disagree with number 2, but number 1 is a fact.

my experience with feminised and Hermies :

if your female plant is not hidden hermie and a is a true female, you can get the chance when stress induced ( flowering then reveging is good for that ) to get pollen from nanner and all the child will be female. I have actually on gro/flo 13/13 females from zamal Haze hybrid. I'm very happy because I know they are true female and no hermie. I can't find and even make hermies from my zamal line. great New.

I had make seeds from an reversed ( false true female lol ) two years ago and I get tons hermies...

true female ( that can't never became hermies in practice ) can make litle pollen and make female seeds.

you have to stress your clones for veg/flo and you'll know if your genetic is true or false.
