I am with you, Gramps. Obama loves UAVs like Clinton loved cruise missiles.

The Obama campaign was a bit of evil political genius as far as I am concerned. There was never a more galvanized progressive movement as there was under Bush. The Obama campaign co-opted and destroyed the most powerful grassroots movement since the 60's.

Yep, Obama loves killing people with predator drones so much he makes jokes about it in public. If you haven't heard his comment, search obama jonas brothers..... my father chuckled when i showed him but i found it sick.... I just dont think people understand whats goin on over there...innocents, children, dying daily! For what? well as of a few months ago according to Obama "less than 100 Al Qaeda". Bullshit...there is no Al Qaeda!

:fsu:There is plenty of Al-Qaeda there in "AfPak" along the border. Plus they are collaberating with the Taliban....as well as other radical factions.
There is an old Arab saying
"The enemy of my enemy is a friend of mine." They just arrested more in the Times Square attempted bombing incident. Enemies , enemies everywhere want to get in on Jihad these days! But what do I know. I am an infedel in their opinion. All religions need to coexist to achieve world peace.

No disrespect, but I have a hunch the only thing you, or anyone for that matter, know about Al Qaeda comes straight from the U.S. media.... and even from them, "less than 100 Al Qaeda" as of a few months ago.... you should still be able to find that online if ya don't believe me. Sorry but I don't believe anything they say...

well hey if more people are dying due to a policy, it's perfectly orwellian to claim success.

death is life, hate is love, and big brother knows what's best...

LOL...the U.S. wont even exist as we know it in 10 years thanks to the bought up congress and puppets like bush and obama

remember the USSR..... now the states of the former S.R.

The U.S. certainly is not what it was 10 years ago NOW!
But it will make a comeback. We are strong as a nation and things got way out of control in this country. Now we all are paying the price for their greed. Business and politicians who are in bed together really.
But healthcare costs and discrimination had to be addressed by somebody. Obama had the balls to take it on. As well as Pelopsi I might add who has female kahonees!
The physicians and hospitals are out of control. A persons life savings can be lost with one catastrophic illness and accident. Many Americans have
"pre-existing health conditions" and no health coverage. Intolerable in a society so evolved as ours and hopefully humane also. We are trying to save the WORLD and we need to take care of our own PPL now!. I don't think Obama is a puppet like George W. was though. He is a breath of fresh air in the stench pit of politicians. Can you even imagine what conflict Obama has faced in his personal life to become the man he has become today? The prejudices he had to face to get to where he is today. But I myself support Obama, but I am disappointed he don't do more for legalization of weed. But his plate is full currently with the trouble in "AfPak" and the increasing terrorist threats from that region. But it is just my 2 cents worth. I think he is sincere and trying very hard to make things better and he has courage. A thing missing in the last few presidents. The Clintons did not get healthcare reform done:bow:. And they were for it. But Obama got the job done. But no president can please everybody. Free the weed Obama though....You know you want to do it really.

OK , so you elected your "breath of fresh air" who used anti-war rederick to gain popularity (pre-campaign)....less and less anti -war as election neared .and now , instead of realizing you've been duped ..........you get right behind your "chosen one ", who is about as fresh as DickCheney ....., so now the lib left is OK with WAR
and the far ....far(RonPaul) right is the only anti war movement

A third party can't win the presidency because there is not enough electoral votes for another party to be able to win. We don't have free elections not until anybody can win the popular vote and become president are we even a free country and the only way this is ever going to change is if we stand up and fight and I don't mean write your lowlife congressman or senator maybe it's time to pick up a gun instead.Maybe it's time for a 2nd civil war to take our country back from the corporations and lowlifes that control our country they will never give it up without a fight I am willing to die to fight for a free America is anybody else willing to die to or is it to hard for anybody to see past their bigscreen tv to do something about it come on people we need to stand up and fight!!!

i guess apathy kinda starts here but, how many people have already died to make this the place it is now?

think about it: from the revolutionary war forward, all these wars have been hyped as fights for freedom.

the reality is that all the wars have paved the way for this new world order - well, call it what you will but, freedom is the carrot and we are only ever going to get the stick.

but, it's not so bad - as long as you follow the rules

lol - "freedom"

*edit - wow, this is post #666 for me - eerie

hahaha...This thread is hilarious.

I think most people don't realize that in order to be president, you have to play the game.. You can't be 100% forthright to get anything done - There are way too many people out of your control. If you don't play the game, you get clipped...Either literally, or politically. The war in the Middle East will continue, regardless of our president, because our nation's mission is to bring that entire area into the global economy and capitalize on it...because if we don't do it, China will, and we will all be shitting in paper bags in 50 years once China doesn't need our economy to progress. The whole thing is much bigger than the ONE person that the president is.. The Bush administration is still in full control over there, and all over the place, as we can see with the recent oil spill....Obama's move on health care is not only an improvement on the seriously corrupt system that is in place now, it is a physical means to redistribute all of that money so that there is even just a slim chance that the people, who can vote, will have some amount of control over it. Without these changes, all of that money goes directly into PRIVATE funds, not accessible through any means by the public. It really is a game, and sometimes you have to get a little dirty to play ball.

2009, Obama is president: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB125021357982431177.html

The Bush administration is still taking care of business even with Obama as president....Clean out the opium farmers, replace them with US corporation-owned wheat farmers, like Monsanto (AKA, Donald Rumsfeld and company)...and just wait for the opium demand to move to someone else. 0o0ooooo! but who will be the lucky guys to get all that business?!

Yeah, with all this fucked up, shady shit going on everywhere, I think Obama is doing pretty good.

no...i didn't. to interpolate that I did from what I wrote would be silly. you have to really stretch it.

I said that the grassroots progressive movement that grew strong under Bush (before being skillfully co opted by the Obama campaign) was the strongest since the sixties. No mention of Kennedy at all.

LOL. R.I.F. (i wonder how old one has to be to catch THAT reference.)

haha, OK...well I think it's silly to say that anything good at all happened while Bush was in office, minus Saddam being dethroned.
