Honda appreciation

Hi, my first car was a little 1984 honda civic.and ever since i've appreciated the drive duriblity and reliability of honda cars.
i like the old versions particularly the honda CRX mk1's.in original condition,no upgrades ect.ok maybe wheels lol.

Any one else like these little motors or still running one.dont see them about much now.i also like the honda INTEGRA type R..thanks...remain i harmony..azad

1988 Honda Accord Hatchback DX

i'm still on the lookout for another Accord Hatch...anyone find one in their area for cheap, let me know! doesn't even need an engine/trans.........

Cool stuff, OP yea honda even make stylish bikes lol.That looks a beast.how she sound though i wonders? like all top makes, or' has it got its own special purrr..

FRANKIE P ,Thats one of the reasons hondas are so pleasing to own,can run em for decades,if serviced regularly.

ARTIC B,Thats what im talking about,the old integra's are great motors for sure!.thats a great model in the pic!!.
As are the preludes,civics,crx's,legends. quality!!!
Summers should be fun,cruising in my honda.

True say bud!! i never drove the aerodeck models but they were a popular honda i recall..
i've just picked up a pair of 14" wheels for my 1987 crx,these are a racing wheel made of magnisium and are very light weight and rare now days.

so no 4 wheeled hondas in my life yet. dying for a 99-2000 civic SI and dreaming of an NSX

but, as a 16 year old i had money lol. always detailed cars, sold candy in school, lotsa side schemes.

anyway. ive always loved motorcycles, any kind, got two wheels im bout it. my mother HATES them. always snuck off to ride my buddies dirtbikes as a kid an such. driving home with my mom one day saw a honda cbr f4 for sale. two bros exhaust. undertail glow. the works really. i was driving so i pulled in and checked it out. called the number and guy answered as he was walking up to me loll.

so he let me test ride it. idk why. i had no bike liscense or helmet. and it was the first sportbike id ever ridden. OH MY GOD. did a wheely on accident in 2nd gear.

i promptly took my mom home, got my older sister who knew how to buy cars/big toys. i had no clue so sis. and a fat stack of 20s and 100s. 3 grand total.

drove there and bought it same day, not 2 hours later.
had to sell it, lowsided at 10 mph cause of sand. and got scared cuz i used to ride alot faster than that.

but bikes are in my blood. so a year or so later i got the bike pictured below. 1986 honda shadow vt500c. not my photo. just driving home with my girl and saw it parked for 1000$ got it for 900 in the first 25 minutes it was out there i was told. nothin fast by any stretch of the imagination. but it has a 6 speed with overdrive so easy on the highways. first bike id heard of with that.
keeps the pocketbook heavy cause im not wasting gas money driving in my jeep.

so theres my honda appreciation. and love of bikes. which must be apparent in my never-ending rambles.

I loved my Honda 99 VTECH. That car was spot on tight. I was rear ended by some a-hole from New Mexico doing 65 in a 25 construction zone. Twisted my seat, snapped the seatbealt, screwed my whole body up, and now I'm medical. Really was bummed out for the longest time. I paid cash for this ride, drove it all over the USA doing summer tours from 99 - 06
I still have my 1986 650XL dirt bike I ride when I feel like getting wreckless and have a self destructive mood.
