I have been feeding with rain water only and it seems to do magical things

I agree..and it is free......:groupwave:

I'm thinking about a water butt when I get my greenhouse done..

After seeing ICC's results on FF..I would be giving it a try..
but we cannot buy it over here.

uptosumpn..I'm not familiar with them..
BUT..I'm sure FF is what ICC grew the JEM in..so it would be worth asking.
His ferting schedule has produced amazing results. :tiphat:

I have had some amazing results with the FF products. I have had great results with bag seed and FF stuff but my prize was my Jalapeño plants i did last year inside. had 3 plants produce over 5 1gallon bags full of the little hot treats. It was insane, and mind you it was all under CFL as i did not have HPS till i got these jems

I notice each evening that the newest set of fan leaves kinda stick up and hide the newest growth. This is kinda weird to me, i havent seen any signs of stress to her and i havent stressed her at all. Is this just the way the leaves are unfolding, due to the bigger size of the new fan leave or do i need to get the light further away. Im less than 10 from the plant and i can hold my hand there and not heat rise at all 2 fans on the top and no signs of heat stress on any part. Anyone got any ideas. Other than im just over reacting and there really ok ......lol ?

i got that 600w a good ways from mine im thinking 15" or more but i dont have good circulation going! just a box fan blowing, but she seems to love it! Ive read your leaves upturning on the edges slightly is a sign of heat stress, but dont quote me on that. You will be amazed at how fast these plants will start taking off at that 2 1/2-3 week it is rediculous! We need some pics tho man cant wait to see yours budding!!!!

I hear ya. I have great circulation but its not the leaf tips that are curling that have me wondering. Its the actual new growth. Its pointed straight up, as in the new fan leaves that are growing are sticking right out of the center. I think this is the way that they grow in flower but i am not sure. This is something that i gave only seen once before and it boggled me then.

FullDuplex..you have me stumped too m8.
I'd love to see a photo if you get one.

I have two strange leaf traits..but neither have been on JEM.
One is a leaf that twists...instead of the normal position the whole leaf twists and sits vertical rather than horizontal.
The other is on the DC and if the leaf looks like a hanging hand..there are two fingers at the back of the leaf that stick straight up..like a two-fingered v sign.
I haven't seen any other..so you have me intrigued. :tiphat:

Well this morning they did not look like what i saw before i went to bed. they have actually opened up and look normal again, however the next set looks like its going to do the same thing. If it does mossy ill get you that pic. It would be cool to have found a trait you havent seen before :artist:

As far as smell goes im filtering it so i really havent smelled to much which is good as i have neighbors.

Now about this explosion. I have seen major changes is 24hrs of pistil development. I am 6 days in and this this is getting hairy:dance013:

and man i cant wait to see those curves :)

3 Weeks (6 days flower)

3 Weeks (6 days flower)

Everything is still running as clock work. Temps are still great and the RH hasnt moved at all. Seems the 2 party cups full of water keeps it at the right level in my room. At this time she is really starting to push out the pistils. Once i see bud development i will start the bloom nutes at 1/2 strength. The male is in his new home and i have collected a few pollen sacs. I will continue to do this from his new location until he dies. I plan on pollinating one or two buds on this to carry on the genes. Then the rest of the pollen is for the California Blue Hashplant that i want to cross to. Hoping to get i high resin auto out of it eventually.

Beautiful FullDuplex....:good:

That first photo..the overhead..makes my heart soar.
Perfect balance.
The human eye is programed to seek perfect balance..
the more perfect the balance..the more stable the genetic.
She does it for me. :kissass:

Have a look at her stalk..does she have a slightly thinner bottom stalk..
where it goes in the soil..and a widening about a thumb space above...?

Look at her head..
see how she has the slightly spikey look to her...:chin:
IF I saw her appear in my grow..
I'd be thinking..
that is the Evil bud....:jump:

probably a white..probably stinkey..probably blow you away. :sasmokin:

Fingers Crossed eh!

Well i am glad that i got to share this with you. I breed dogs and it is always a pleasure to see them after they have been taken to there new homes. See how they have grown and what colors came out and all that good stuff so i know how ya feel.

When i saw the balance in this plant i was ecstatic, i have had several grows in the past and this is my first that was even all the way up through, even the side branching is even.

its funny you mention the stalk, i noticed the exact thing that you mentioned above when i was taking these pics. She is thinner as she comes out of the soil and then about a thumb's distance up she is thick and wide. Its quite a site to see.

I agree about the evil bud :jump: it just looks evil. At first i thought that the jagged edges of the leaves were from heat stress, but as she grew i see that this is an actual trait of this plant. The temps are in the mid 70's all over my box so i know that this wasn't the issue.

So my fingers are crossed and i am left wondering one thing that you said.
"probably a white..probably stinkey..probably blow you away."

what do you mean by white?

and as always, thank you again for the kind words and some damn fine genetics.

I breed dogs
Ha ha..wonderful.....:good:
Same principal..different set of traits.
My parents bred dogs (and other animals..)
and the family bred Tomatoes..
I was born into splicing and dicing.

You should be able to throw a nice AF cross then. :chin:

You have a head start.

.
She has a slight "stop" on her...nowt to worry about..
But..
at around 7-10 days you have changed something about her conditions that she liked..and she has responded to it.

It is her way of showing pleasure..and telling you to keep on doing what you are doing...coz she likes it. :tiphat:
You should see her gratitude in Bud.

Saw-toothed leaf pheno..DC carries it too..I Like seeing that trait.

what do you mean by white?
I think she will be white budded..
BUT..
don't be disappointed..
IF she is who I suspect she is..she is one of the best phenos for taste/effect.

Keep your nose open when you water her..If you start smelling incense..
Stash her..she is MY Favourite. :dance013:

Cheers m8...

Wow man what can i say, other than thanks for the kind words as well as the help. Its not to often you meet someone who is willing to share info as well as what to look for. :tiphat:

I can tell you this i will be looking out for this smell. I get to water in 2 days so ill be paying a bit more attention to see if i catch any smell on incense.

I have to agree with you on the saw tooth. Its a awesome pheno, i would like to pass this along to the cross i want to make out of this and the Cali blue hash plant.

But if she is white you can bet it goes no where but to me and maybe a toke or two to some close close friends.:jump::jump:

One more thing, i took some pics of the stem for you to take a look about the stem thing we talked about. Let me know if i really saw what you mentioned

Betcha when you pass your puppies on you tell the new owner what food to use..when to get her shots and when they had their last worming tablets..
Because you want them to get the very Best out of them...
'sno different.

You gotta get the best mom..so you can make a great cross with that Cali blue hash plant...
I'm looking forward to it. :yummy:

Have a look at the bottom of the calyx's..does she show pink or peach there yet..?

Get your posts rolled up so you can mail me some details on the Cali..
I've seen her name mentioned..but haven't seen any grows on her yet
I'm looking forward to seeing her. :tiphat:

Thats exactly right. When they leave they are on good solid food and have all up to date shots and have a recommended vet.

Ill have to take a look this evening and try to get some macro shots in there to see if i can see color, my Nikon can get in close :jump:

from what i have heard and read its got color in both bud and in leaf formations. It flowers fast and changes from a bright violet to a dark purple when fully mature. So there are colors all over the place. I think the blue in the statement comes from the blueberry cross. Not sure what blueberry was used but i know the hash plant that its crossed with is nice looking as well as has resin traits from NL :jump::jump::jump:
