Does anyone use or has anyone ever used ASDA mineral water (called Eden Falls)? It has a ph of 6.4 which seems ideal and is only 92p for 5 litres!!

soz for the delayed reply mudvaynefan.... i've been off on my hols for a week and haven't been on-line.
Haven't used it yet (bought 20 litres...on standby) as i use rainwater... i live in ireland and it's normally plentiful but as the summer approcahes this can change rapidly...
I had a chronic grow on the go last summer and during dry spells used fresh mountain spring water from a stream with great results but i've moved house and now have no access to fresh spring water.
Just thought someone out there might've tried it as it's sooooo cheap

Do you have a means of testing the ph of the water your giving your plants? I find it to be absolutely invaluable.

Its the difference between growing some weed, and helping a plant to realize its genetic potential.

I would in my grow never use water ph to 6.4.

Well, maybe for the bubble cloner, ph does not seem to be much of an issue.

If you are to assume that each bottle is at 6.4, a gallon of water, takes 3 or 4 small drops of ph down to go to 5.8-6.

It would still be great to get test strips, or drops.

I use water and drops. I don't want a pen, or anything that has to be calibrated, and can break.
