nope does not work. You can use your video area to put vidoes in. But you can only post videos in a certain thread.

If you want to post a video, we have a video section for that, even a music specific one. That is where videos go

Yeah they never invoked that capability with vbulletin here.. It seems to have been a conscious choice and there have been many threads on the subject. They have a video section here that they prefer you use. I often like to embed a youtube video in other boards that use vbulletin. It is not like we always just want to go to the video section and post a video there. It is nice when you can put a video in context of your post for instance. You have to be careful as one of the mods goes after video posters I have seen. She has taken the concept of storing useful videos in a common storage area to mean not to show them anywhere else.

Yes i have been there and still with no joy as to embedding the videos and seen that people can but i don't know how they do it.

Sometimes I take for granted the most mundane of tasks on the net.

All you need to do is :

1) Go to the video to want to post

2) Highlight & copy the link

3) Go to the ICMAG video section (cough*KharmaChick*cough)

4) Paste your link in a new post

Voila!

kinda lame that i cant share vids in my thread.... i guess people get to go to anpther website to see my grows. kinda a bummer....

No one has to go anywhere else. If you can shoot a vid, you can shoot stills. Place vids in the vid section and stills where you please. Kinda lame you can't follow some simple rules.
