Odors - Short Stuff #1

Hello guys,

I ordered some autoflowering strains I'm gonna grow outdoor, but I was thinking about keeping a few plants inside, just in case something goes wrong with the guerilla plants.
The problem is I dont want any odor in my room, and I don't have the place to put a real filter, so I'm looking for an auto with a very low smell, even it's not that potent (I ordered Russian Rocket Fuel and Mi5 which seem really nice).
I should get 5 free short stuff#1 with my order, and as i can't find any report for this strain i was wondering if it could do the job (it seems to be a renamed lowryder#1, which i think doesn't stink to much), so if someone can tell me about it (especially about its odor) that would be nice !
Oh and I might get some free Mystery Kush too, same question for it ^^

All cannabis plants stink, some just don't have much smell in veg....I haven't ever seen a plant that didn't smell in flower and that takes the fun out. You can build a tiny carbon scrubber with a computer fan, some wood and carbon. Perhaps a small ozone generator would work quite nicely, I'd use something and give up on the 'low odor' idea'.

the only weed that stinks are skunk n diseal strains, the rest can be conquered with little to no odor control. i had dutchpowerplant in full flower at 2ft tall in my bedroom, zero odor and had no odor control, buy a vapourtek disk, neurtral scent, it will cost u a little over two dollars a month for a few plants inside, cut the disk in half and place it near your plants n fan, odor will be a gone completley. ive heard ss#1 has no odor. id really like to know for sure myself plus hear reports from recent seed stock if they really auto like they should. nothing worse then fake autos.

only problem is, alot of strains these days have skunk genes bred into them so smell will quite often be a problem. but as castelvestro has said there are a few strains that dont smell, northern lights being one. i did find a pheno of lowryder 2 that had no smell right through its life, but others stank. good luck on your quest but i recommend a filter.

smell control cant be underestimated if it means not getting busted!!

Of the 8 auto strains I've grown so far the one with the least odor was Snowryder. Have some RRF seeds but haven't grown them yet. Mi5 is pretty potent.

original lowryder has a very low odor but even original lowryder can become stinky at times.

I guess i'm gonna go with ss#1. I also have Snowryder old seeds but it probably would smell stronger. I've grown some outdoor last year and I might be wrong but I remember them being quite stinky...
Anyway, I hope I won"t get fake autos...

No problems at all with Short Stuff#1..odour levels are very low,something like a fruits to me,non smokers will never ever notice something strange,been growing SS#1 for three grows without carbon srubber and no problems at all

Thank you Xtrail, but that's just bad luck, I just received my order and didn't get any free ss#1 like i was expecting ! They sent me a 5 pack of fem Mi5 instead, which is nice too but I would't keep them indoor for now. Well I can try with snowryders, or send everyone outdoor, or reorder ss#1... anyway I've got to change my plan.
I also got 5 free auto assasin (that's a lot of free seeds ), anyone knows about its lineage ?

I got 2 free auto assasin's last order, i have them going right now. From 2 seeds i got a male and a female, what luck. Since they are fem seeds i am even more suprised.

The female is just starting to flower.. Wish i knew what the linege was. We'll see how it looks in a few weeks. If you grow yours do a grow report on em. I will do one of the F2's when i get the seeds harvested.

If anyone has info on this one i'd like to know as well.

I got 5 x Auto Assassins free with an order for Gems. Have just started both off, 3 x Gems, 3 x Assassins, all sprouted now at about a week old. I asked the guy I placed the order with to tell me more about the Assassins, all he could say is that they're autoflowing with a good mix of indica and sativa - which I could prolly have guessed anyway! I usually keep a grow diary for future ref, will do the same with this one.

Short Stuff #1 btw, got 5 free seeds last year, grew them out - 4 girls, made some more with the boy. They really are quite short - 12" or so, the buds were tight around the main stem. Of all the AFs I've grown, they had the least odour. The smelliest by far is the Lowrider #2. Get two of those in the same space and it stinks my house out from top to bottom!

I had the same problem with LR#2, only one plant and after two weeks of flowering the smell was super strong, no way to control it.
Damn I wish I had SS#1 now, but I don't really want to pay a new order. Maybe I'll try with Snowryders. Anyone else could tell about this one ?

I've grown 8 different auto strains over the past couple years. Of all them Snowryder had the least odor. I found it to be a medium potency, about the same as LR II, and more of a head high. A better day time smoke.

I also got 5 free Auto Assasin with my last order. I questioned the seed bank about it's genetics and here's the information I got.

The auto assassin is a much improved and reworked strain which has much ak47 in its lineage as well as some of our other strains. It's a robust, compact
full strength strain which will flourish anywhere.

It is not going to be fully released for a while but we will have some more detailed info from the breeder when it does get released for sale

I got exactly the same message from the breeder, I guess they send the same mail to everyone. At least we know it's an ak47 cross, like mi5 or onyx. It should be nice too

A mix of Indica and Sativa?? I would think they are mostly Sativa.

So the guy you got the seeds from is full of shit...lol.. I know he should have been able to give you more info than he gave...I guess he didn't know much about what he was selling.

Taking an Auto AK47 ( a mostly sativa autoflower ) and crossing it with another Regular sativa would hardly classify as a mix of Indica and Sativa...

Anyways...Keep us updated on the Auto Assassins..I would love to know what their yield and potency is like..

Of the 3 Auto Assassins I started, 2 are girls, one is a boy. That's a great ratio in my books. The plants were started on 09/04, and are stout, relatively short and looking good - basically doing exactly what it says on the tin.

Compared to the sativa dominant strains I've grown, the leaves look indica to me, but I guess the proof is in the smoke.

I know the seller pretty well and he's certainly not full of shit. At the time Auto Assassin wasn't released or for sale and the only way to get them was as free seeds with an order. Apparently the breeder wasn't ready to release them, or any further information about them. Since then they have become available for sale. Here is the information from his web site.

I got 5 seeds with my last order. All five germinated but a damn mouse ate two of them. The other 3 are doing well and I should be able to sex them in another day or two. Looking forward to trying them as there are few sativa dominate autos available at this time.

LoL..yeah when I said full of shit I meant in a way that he (the breeder) was not telling all of the information...but it makes sense now since you said that he did not want to release all of the information yet...

Well All I can say is that I most definitely want to try them...

A Sativa Auto Flower...wow...I am glad to see more of those on the market and this Auto Assassin is a good addition to the list...They will be a part of my next grow for sure...I have read the description and I am pleased with what I read...

Short stuff has just put music in my ears with this new baby..lol..
