Congrats.
If it´s your 1st AK47 crop maybe you should make a control harvest.
Flush them all and then start croping in a week to 10days time but do it in batches.
Chop the ones that look more mature then give the others another week
Then chop another batch and wait another week.
You can do that until you find it´s reasonable and that way you will end with diferent smokes and next time you will go for the one that better suits your needs.
I hope i´m making sense...

In other hand imho those girls need at least another 2weeks but this is based on my personal taste

hey i checked the trichs and they look half way between cloudy and amber....its weird because I would have thought the hairs would have turned more before the trichs.....Im not sure what to do. Im flushing tomorrow I guess...Confused

well i looked through your newest pics in your album in full size and they are not ready for flushing yet. you want them to reach their potential before you begin flushing, else you will force them to ripen early. at this point patience is a virtue, you are looking ready to harvest a superb yield, but if you take them too early they will not be as heavy nor as potent as they could be. do some teste, take a branch off here and there and in 3 days you will be able to smoke it and get some idea. but they are still very white, that means they are still packing on weight, not the best time to begin flush.

i've been flushing with clearex and tap water for a few days now. Yesterday i pulled 2 of the most ripe plants. The rest still need at least a few more days. The buds that aren't staked can't even stand anymore from the weight. Can't believe there still going. My friend grew the same strain and finished in 60 days, while im nearing 70 and still going strong. Too many white hairs to justify cutting em' down!

Judging by your images from May 17th, I'm not surprised most of them are still aren't ready. What did the tricomes & hairs look like on the two you already pulled? Were there orange hairs on those?

Pics would be incredible if you get a chance! I just popped some AK-47 beans a few days ago and transplanted them into keg cups filled with coco coir yesterday. I'm in search of a killer mom plant, & I'd love to know what to expect from them!

well this is my first time with true ak. The ones I did pull had a bunch of orange hairs. The others have orange hairs but most are white still so I figure a few more days at least. My friend grew the mothers for my clones and pulled 4 oz's per plant! Its a great plant and it yields better than anything I've ever grown. I would flower before they bet too tall though if your packing them in. My set up is wayyy to overgrown to reach the plants in the back anymore . all I can do is water them , but no more stakeing. my friends mother plants were ready in 60 days. im at 71 days now, way off from the 47-56 advertised but still a great plant.

manicured a couple of early finishers last night. Took me 3 hours. They were smaller plants but looked like around 4-6 oz total for the two. If thats correct then this could be a much heavier harvest than I originally expected. Not getting my hopes up though. but DAMN this is gonna be a long trimming ordeal.....

keep us posted. i am in the 5th week of flower for my 18 AKs in a 10 600w room. had to stake like crazy since the fruit is so huge. i can't imagine what they will look like in 3 weeks. when did most of your fan leave fall? i did a test of LST vs FIM and found that these AKs love a combo of FIM and then LST. they are all 4 ft tall and 4ft wide. great strain..good luck

my fans didn't fall off. although i ripped most of them off. seems too lessen the flarf. but yea stake like crazy, I did and I still got huge floppers all over. The weight is just way too much for the stems. but Im not complaining. Expect huge swelling in the next few weeks.

strange most of my lower fans yellowed and fell but the buds are all super green and other leaves are fine. i am using cutting edge solution nutes with ben bact and mollasses. the flowering nutes are much lower in N so perhaps that is why the fans went. also using co2. i did trip the lower 1/3 before flower so i wouldn't get popcorn. now i just have 12-15 shoots of fatness. can't wait for these ladies to really swell. very interested in your yield. i'll let you know mine as well when they get closer. these last 3 weeks are taking forever but can't wait!!! peace

i fimmed before flower then I trimmed all the lower crap once, then again later on. I also tried removing a bunch of fan leaves throughout flower. Not sure what effect it had if any. I never did it before but i guess It helped out the lower crap. dont think Ill be growing them this big next time. SOG real soon for next....

If you go SOG next time with the same cut, it will be interesting to see which method yields more and how much time you save without all the veg time. Keep us posted!

Im confident it will take wayyyy less time and probably yield a lot more!!! I realized that my timers were off wack and they were actually on a 13-11 --- 14-10 light schedule...no wonder they were taking forever. They all got brought down a couple of days ago. Lookin real good. Trimming is taking forever!!!! Im thinking the final weigh in will be some where between 2 - 3 lbs, but not sure. Ill get some pics up here soon.

haven't done A final weigh in but its looking like i hit 4#'s. which means I broke the 1g per watt mark awwwww yea. still gott a ton of trimmin to do though so weel see. The smell is awesome.

canopy was around 3 - 4' X 10-12' ish. I can't wait for the next round im gonna try and double my numbers maybe even more. Weel see how the sog method does for me.
