Cloning in plugs

To start this thread off, I didnt know where to place it because there isnt a cloning section..
Anyways..
I have been using a diy bubbler for the past year with less than perfect results, but its worked..
My friend turned me onto plugs.. So, currently I have a bunch of clones in the dome in plugs.. this is how I do it..
cut stem at angle under water(light KLN rooting hormone in water) to a clone of about 5".. let sit in the light concentration KLN for 5min.. then either put olivias rooting gel on the stem or sometimes not.. then into the plug.. put plug under the kln water, squeeze half way and then put under dome.. after the plugs are in the plug holder in the tray with the dome over them, I mist the leaves and the top of the dome every 4 hours..

i took a purple kush cut about 12 days ago.. shes in a plug under the dome.. still perky.. this is my first try with the plugs.. i really hope it works.. seems so much more simple..

ive heard roughly 2 weeks for the roots to pop out the plug..

Any more tips or advice?

Sounds like you have it figured out bro. I don't mist as much, but it won't hurt. Wait about 2 weeks like you said, and you should see some roots. I'm normally near 100% with the dome and the plugs.

Watch when removing them from the dome and planting them. They may start to wilt when transferred from the dome with 100% RH to your room. I bring them out slowly and weather them so they can get used to it.

Hey Relentless! I also use plugs on occasion
with near 100% results.Id recommend NOT
misting ur clones as this prolongs the
rooting process! The idea is not to feed
them(misting) in order to force them to
produce their own roots for feeding!!

sounds like u have the right idea. when you put them in the doom add 1 cup of water & seal it up with tape close the hole in the lid let set 4 about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. good luck

keep the humidity up with a heating mat, and place in INdirect light. I am using rapid rooter plugs with clonex and I get roots as fast as 4-5 days.
