400w club... any opinions welcome.

i haven't been keeping up on the site ive been way to loaded. i just finished my first successful grow. it was very successful. i grew 25 plants sog under a 400w hps and yielded 5.5 oz. i was pretty stoked on my yield and as i sought out opinions on how i did most people took me as a liar. but 3.5oz of pineapple kush and 2oz of gdp... i feel pretty good about myself.

5.5 oz of dank sounds good. Yield will increase with experience and lots of reading on this wonderful site.

wth? lol 5.5 oz isn't possible with a 400watt hps?.. damn hate to see what im gonna get out of my 600watt hps.. which is currently dimmed to 400... and all 8 are looking beautifully bushy, think it's not really all about how many watts or how many plants you grow.. more of the tech. and care you put into your plants, cheers on the nice pull!, i love me some gdp, but im not in cali anymore lol.... midwest sucks balls but atleast the post office still delivers quality genetics

Good pull for first time around.

I use a 400 watt and shooting for 1.25 grams a watt in 70 days, this time around. I doubt ill get it as my strains are not know to be heavy producers. 500 grams / 28 = 17.8 oz wishful thinking im sure. LOL

by harvest time they were very tightly packed. only veged for 2 weeks then straight into flower. each of the colas weighed about 3grams or more. the gdp didn't bush at all. they were pretty much 14"-18" tall with solid buds all the way up.

sorry its been a few days since ive had a chance to log on..
there were a few buds towards the bottom that weren't as dense, but all the top buds, especially the gdp, were really dense.

Congrats on your first harvest. Not too bad for the first time.

The pic below is from another site but it's ONE plant of UGORG Killerskunk in a 35 litre planter and yielded just over 14oz under a 400w. Truly inspiring.

I don't know; the pic of drying bud doesn't look like 14oz (dried/cured).

I've no reason to make it up; there's five hangers of bud, plus I didn't post pics of the boxes full of bud.

On the description of Killerskunk UGORG state 'Yield Indoors: Depending on grow skills and environment, a big yield is hard to avoid. A gram per watt of light is not so hard with Killer Skunk'
