99.99% of all seed lines ever sold are technically the results of amateur creations. Limited releases are the super dupes.

Facility is the second most over used term on these boards today, right behind IBL. Unless everybody is cool with facility = closet. lol.

Sometimes limited seedlots are the result of a large scale open pollination where nearly all seeds are kept for further work but some are released for the consumer. Sadly this is a rare scenario but with some breeders it does happen.

for my taste depends on the "reason" for limited... i mean if someone offers 30 packs of a pure sat with 40+ week flowering (despite knowing, most time none will care etc...), im good with it...

same goes with highly sought after genetics... if the demand outperforms the availibility, you can't blame the breeder if he can't come up with sufficient (illegal) seedstock (the blues...)???

IMO limited edition seeds are nothing but hype to make some fast cash.

Hopefully people just voice there opinions on the matter and dont flame anyone else for counter-opinions. I was just curious as I am personally perplexed on this matter on one hand I enjoy having genetics that others can never have access to again (technically). On the other hand I am going broke trying to buy limited seed releases cuz I dont want to regret it later.

Im pretty much in that boat but it sucks when you find a good strain thats of limited availability and cant get it. Im happy when I have them but not so much when I cant get them... if that makes sense. Thanks everyone who has voted
