Does the recipient name need to be correct? I have heard yes and no. I wonder how anyone would know if its a house guest or not?

What do all you people think, or know?

THANKS

I would caution against usps. Go with Fedex 3 day ground. Know how to package your shit...Always gets there man always. Don't ever use the real name of the person who lives at the address, and obviously the senders name is a fake...always pay cash...Simple process just has to be done correctly.

other way around. USPS needs a federal warrant to open a package. UPS/fedex both open up lots of them at will.

I agree with HED, you ship guns with USPS when your the owner because its cheaper and you dont need to go through bullshit. As long as you dont make it suspicious your good to go. They take better care of the package and WILL NOT open it unlesss as stated earlier. THe problem is if you do get caught for something of an illegal nature your in for hell. Compared to UPS or FEdex where they'll just take it.

i got a few care packages, all from cali, all with UPS... my gf worked for usps for a while, and the horror stories she has...holy shit :joint:
and i've heard unconfirmed rumors that fedex has dogs at certain locations

but you're right, you need a postal inspector to open US mail, that's a fact :joint:

Yea they need a warrant but how do you think they suspect the package? They ALL have drug dogs and DEA task force as part of their organizations, USPS, Fedex, UPS. If the USPS suspects your package they will get a warrant no problem. Fedex and ups dont need one but they don't just pop boxes without a reason either. I'm not going to say your wrong or anything but EVERYONE I know uses Fedex, they have been doing this for a long time with way more weight than any of us growers produce and it always gets there. No way is 100% guaranteed, but IMHO fedex is the way to go.

As you know, smell is never the concern (thank you vac sealers). I do think the best advice overall is to get a good shipping service level- as the less time the carrier has whatever you're shipping/recieving the better.

I've never had a USPS delivery intercepted, I have however... wel lI've been... lets just say "near" a USPS controlled delivery, and if all of them are as sloppy as the one I witnessed- It's impossible that they actually stick anyone with illicit packages. All parties involved walked away with no charges related to the delivery, and one party got charged with a bong (paraphanalia) that they had in plain sight from the entryway to their home. That's their stupidity, imo.

I know that both Fedex's and UPS TOS allow them to look in your package without cause, but from what you've said it sounds like they generally just don't care. Which works for me.

i used to toss boxes for UPS, and my girl did basically the same thing for USPS...those boxes get opened left and right, all the time. and its not even because people are trying to steal shit or bust you, its because people walk on them/step on them, whatever: anything they have to do to get that shit on or off a truck/conveyor as fast as fucking possible lol..

my gf came home one night and said that there was a huge ordeal and the cops came because a box "became opened" and there was a loaded pistol in it, all kinds of nonsense. another time, one of her coworkers fucked up a box and tons of pills burst out everywhere (in bottles, but still..), again the cops were called...

all i'm saying is, shit happens at those places. also, if they're inspecting your package, they A)already have something on you, and they're intercepting your mail or B) you're a fucking idiot that cant tape a box closed lol

The only thing I would add is you want to Vacuum seal then ALWAYS put into a rubbermaid container, then always, always double box the package. Gift wrap the inner package and put a copy of the delivery address on top of that package then drop that box into a plain cardboard new box. Tape very plainly and never smoke around the package.

if sending to an apartment or p.O. box the real senders name should match with the post box/apt # because a lot of apartments have names taped on the inside of their mailboxes and sometimes the mail will get returned to sender if names don't match

best believe

Good point, That's why you should never ship to anywhere but a house, no duplex townhouses apartments whatever...better to play it safe

when names don't match recipient to their home or apartment then thats another tool they can use to get a search warrant on the package. If names match it's harder for them to 'profile' packages.

yes a lot of people misspell names a bit but that also makes it easier for them to profile packages and get a warrant.
