i used to grow a cut of ethiopian high land well thats what i was told it was that made mexi brick look sweet but oh dear god few puffs and you where sweating from your ears and forhead lol the high was amazing other then the near hart attack heart rate that came from it .

I think a lot of the long-flowering sativa's you'll see, like Tom Hill's Haze don't look so sexy in the bag (or on the branch). They're whispy, have few trichomes and are just basically Plain Jane.

... but once you smoke a properly grown 16-week sativa ...

Cool thread!I like to see the amazement on my buddies faces when they get soooo damn high with bud that they thought was not worth the rolling paper!:laughing:I think landrace sativas and very old strains have this feature as it's not long since people started to pay that much attention on bag appeal.Back in the days it was about smoking pleasure not viewing pleasure.

used to see a strain of mexi sativa around here (from on gulf coast). looked like stringy shit in the bag, smelled oddly earthy. but fire up a bowl & it tasted/acted like hash! visually entrenched modern day pot snobs wouldn't even try it...
