Start with MMJ.

Really these legalization things going on in Cali (or quasi legalization in Colo)...Are not what they are cracked up to be. Read between the lines and you shall see.

The NJ bill was blatantly organized for the PROFIT of some, not benefit of all.

"tes registered organizations for the purpose of acquiring, possessing, manufacturing, selling, delivering, transporting or distributing marihuana for certified medical use. A registered organization maybe a pharmacy; an Article 28-licensed facility (hospital, clinic, etc.); a not-for-profit corporation organized to be a registered organization; the Department; a local health department; or a registered producer (an entity that produces marihuana, solely for sale to other registered organizations). ?3365 establishes guidelines for the registering of registered organizations. Allows the department to suspend or terminate a registration on grounds, and using procedures under this article relating to a license, to the extent consistent with this title. ?3366 requires registered organizations to report to the commissioner all sales, deliveries or distributions of medical marihuana to certified patients or designated caregivers during a particular period."

") A REGISTERED PRODUCER, WHICH SHALL BE A PERSON OR ENTITY, WITH APPROPRIATE EXPERTISE IN AGRICULTURE, REGISTERED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING OR MANUFACTURING MARIHUANA AND SELLING, DELIVERING, TRANSPORT ING, OR DISTRIBUTING IT TO ANOTHER REGISTERED ORGANIZATION; A CERTIFIED PRODUCER SHALL NOT SELL, DELIVER OR DISTRIBUTE MARIHUANA TO A CERTIFIED PATIENT OR DESIGNATED CAREGIVER FOR THAT PERSON'S US"

Appriate expertise, hmmmmmmmmmm

i think this deliberately vague
partly, it's still a work in progress
but i think the strategy is to limit the number of growers
since your next door to NY, you may have noticed the state legislature lockup
nothing is getting done here until we get a new Governor
so we wait
to put a positive spin on this, maybe the dust will settle on the NJ setup which looks like a piece of crap to me
for a while, it looked like NY MMJ was going to be the same as NJ MMJ

I think NY is the Key,

NY,CA are the trend setters

definitely, NY could be a big game changer
NY is currently a good news, bad news situation
bad in that the MMJ legislation is stalled
good in that everything is locked, including state budget, which is going to get critical
the usual vested interests are all hanging on to their funding, no one wants to give anything up
they say MMJ isn't about money
no politician wants to be associated with it, but they will slaver like dogs to the dinner bell for large scale taxed MMJ

I got a local new place to run a poll and in my area it's over 70% want medical legal!

Full legalization is not far behind.

It's in the emerald triangle of the north,

Montreal, Albany , Buffalo!

The bill is tied to the budget so I would say that governor Patterson want's it legal, He has stated he would sign it!

damn! i've been living in the northern emerald triangle and didn't even know it
but i have seen a few big indoor grow busts
a lot of big outdoor grows do go on
Paterson isn't a bad dude, at least on MMJ, no doubt he would sign, he's got nothing to lose at this point
this may be the opportunity we needed, a lame duck governor

Do you think the part in bold would exculed even someone from opeing a disp with a record of a UPM/ Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, it's a violation not criminal charge a 100 Dollar ticket. It looks like it would so anyone with the littles drug infraction willnot be allowed to be a disp operator in NY. The best part though is "of good moral character" that is pretty much the politicans way of keeping out anyone they don't want or don't pay to play.

this seems to be 'at our discretion' language, if you have a record it will be tough to be a dispenser
really not clear to me where the line will be, i'm sure it's written this way on purpose
