the fish fertilizer stank up my room good, so i switched my res too some 20-20-20 reduced plantprod stuff i got when i first started, seems like a good fall back, with lots of micro nutrients, hoping my plants will love this.

I was also thinking about the flip to 12/12. I really should get on top of that and do it this week.

Good luck with the res switch! I'm sure they'll adjust without any problems, considering weed can grow in the most absurd conditions(High temps,low temps,shit soil,shit outdoor weather etc.)

I was thinking of trying LST on them tonight. I've never done it so I'm a bit scared I'll snap the stem by mistake. TOUCH WOOD.

I also decided to LST tonight. Didn't have much trouble with it, pretty much smooth sailing. Here are the flicks:

If you are happy to try out new things you could top only one plant and leave the other as is. See whats working best, gain experience.

But as christoph said, you should send them to flowering really soon. They will get big.

yeah, they are gunna get very tall, i would say read up on topping and top one of them, as zest said, would be a great learning experiance.

that's so cool that you get thai brick weed there, are there lots of seeds in it? i never have seen that in my area, i saw some chocolate thai at a dispensary shop but absolutely no seeds whatsoever in it (dang good smoke though!!) subscribed to this for sure, great show so far =)

smokefrogg: Thanks! Good luck on the soil run! If I could have my way,I'd have planted these outdoors. Keeping thai genetics indoors is like keeping a sperm whale in a swimming pool. LOL.

The only reason we get brick thai here is cause that is what's being grown in the region. Number of seeds depends really.I'd say in an 8grm bag you'd be lucky to find more than 6-7 good seeds,the rest would have either been crushed from compressing the buds or some are just young seeds.

I'm sure those dispensaries make it a point to provide quality sensimillia,hence the no seeds. Couldn't you get cuttings of the choco thai from there though?I'm so jealous that you live in cali!

cristoph: Yes, I do in fact have a timer. It's one of those analogue timers. I just set the duration and plug my lights into the timer,correct?

I did the LST on the plants over again. Cleaned it up sort of. I also changed the water in the res.

I managed to upload these photos,then icmag sends me a notification saying I'm exceeding my album quota. Noob question but, how do I upload my photos now?

Topped them today.

I topped both plants today and put those tops into jiffy pots to see if they'll root(possible candidates for the jiffy challenge!)

The cab is going into 12/12 later today,finally the plants and lights can get some rest.

Let me know if it I topped them wrong,though I'm pretty sure I did it correctly.

did you use any rooting gel/powder? if not you should spit on the bottom and im not sure how well they will do being that short, but you never know! be optimistic!

having droplets of water on the leaves can actual cause refraction and make light burns in the leaves! it might only be with very high powered lamps, but i would be carefull, maybe a finer mist?

So 12/12 starts tomorrow at 0600!

No big on the uploads man, I'm glad to do it.

I didn't use any rooting gel or powder or even spit as how was discussed in the other thread. I just stuck em into the jiffy pots. If they root,they'll root. If they don't,it's not the end of the world. Lesson learned and aim for better cloning next round!

I let the water clear off the leaves a bit before putting them back in,so I don't think I'm at risk of burning them. Lights have been on throughout these photos just so we can see the babies better.
