older leaves dieing and drying up? normal or bad?

hey everybody, i just went down into the room and pulled the ladies out so i could work on them. i just wanted to know if it is normal for older leaves at the bottom of the plant that do not get much light usually dry up and die? also, is it normal for them to change colors like get yellow and sometimes brown or even black? for some reason i would feel that it would be normal if they didnt turn colors, but im a little worried. the tops and other parts of the plants are not discolored at all, they are looking pretty healthy, i just think well definitely know
that the plants are a def rootbound. well im going to go back downstairs and do the final trim of flower, and do some supercropping, so hopefully someone can give me some insight, ill be heading back up every now and then. thanks a lot people.

Hi AOD2012, Its a normal for a plant to loose bottom leaves & they do change color before dropping, as long as the new leaves are healthy all is good. Just keep an eye on the bottom of the leaf area for any signs of scale, mites etc.

In late flowering fan leaves will start to fade especially the lower ones. I just pull them off. At what stage is the grow, how far into 12/12, how tall are they and how much light have you got?

The top developing colas sound healthy so you should be alright. How about a pic. Don't stress to much.

Iwant to take a pics but the camera I have right now really sucks. Can't get close enough to take a decent picture that's focused. But yea all my tops and new growth are really healthy, I'm just having some slight light burn, but I ordered two superspreaders to deal with that. Ok though thanks for the input, I jst hit the third week of flower so Ihopefully everything will be good. I will update
