i think its leaning sativa from what i see; i think that you are getting some of the spindly bud sites because they aren't all receiving a lot of light.
your doing very good here don't get discouraged; in the future i would encourage you to trim your bud sites very selectively; and train your plants so that they are showing their biggest buds as close to the light as you can get em without burning. - that should help you get some denser bigger buds
youll have alot of trimmings to make bubble hash or brownies with though!

Hey MacGyver420, thanks a bunch for checking in. Yea.. I'm pretty sure it's easy to tell why these puppies stretched so far. I always remember an old saying that the plants will end up two thirds taller than when they were flowered, and I think that is a modest assumption. I waited way to long to flower them off. But here is why I think,
Out of like 40 (2 batches of 20) cuttings in my bubble cloners that used to never fail me, I only got 3 cuttings that actually rooted well. So I let them veg longer to make up for the lack of numbers, I think this allowed them to get wild once flowering began and obviously become too tall.
but with training I feel they have actually utilized the 400 watts of hps bulb, which is not brand new, quite well. I'm gonna flush it out today and put in a mild blend of straight flora nova bloom. I'm gonna go in and swish the roots around by hand to dislodge any sediment that might be clinging inside there. Then drain, then fill with fresh water, swish the roots some more, then refill and add the new straight flowering nutrients... I'm really interested to see the final weight on this bag seed run.
I still have one clone of the bagseed, but I gave a couple others away and an afgoo cut away too.
The fungus gnats seem to be reducing quickly after an explosion of infestation, c'mon mosquito dunks.
I went ahead and brought the blue dream clone into general veg population.

, I chopped a sample branch for testing. I want to see what it tastes like at this point. Then continue adding only water for top offs from here out. I will then chop 1 plant per week or so to spread out the work and make sure some of it gets extra ripe.

I smashed the roots with my hand, they were more fluffy than I suspected:

close up day 57, 3 days dry, its not Totally dry but I smoked a piece:
I'm very excited about this smoke, the high hit me pretty hard off that sample and is somewhat a soaring and intense high, very pleasing and fun to smoke already, time in jars will do these nugs very well.
Tell me your impression of the nugget. what do you think of the leaf to calyx ratio? Trichome production? The taste is already a hashy fruit type flavor, the smell is like fresh green bud for lack of better idea. Like pineyness. The taste hangs around for a bit and later I can tell you how long the high lasts, but I have a feeling it's gonna be ALL day! I already want to smoke more it tastes so good.
