Bud weight too much for stems

I'm about half way through flowering, and as usual, the buds are starting to bend the stems from the weight they're putting on. The difference is that this time I'm growing in a 9'x9' square, and the plants have COMPLETELY taken over all of my space.

I'd usually tie up the buds to keep the canopy even, but there's not enough room to move around easily.

Would letting them flop a little to the side, and slightly on top of one another effect bud quality? The humidity is low and there's plenty of air movement. I'm just worried that I'll hurt the plants by fondling them too much, or the somewhat covered buds won't develop properly.

If you can't get to them, you can't get to them. If you can, stake or tie up themost concerning ones as best as you can. I don't think fondling hurts much, its kinda nice now and then.

Its a hard life when your buds are so big that you get this problem lol. No seriously i would try to get them separated but if you can't well you can't just prepare for next time. Now if only i had that problem :)

Theres never too much bud weight, just stems that are too weak. Help them out with stakes.

You may well have low RH but two buds, large falling over buds, would be pretty soaked around the point they touch, and if you can't get to them you'll only notice budrot when it is rampant. Don't risk it, find a way to pull them out so you can get in and repeat till all your girls are back in and tied up, give you a chance to do really fondle them if you like :D

Look up pico's PVC trellis thread. It's a life saver for top heavy plants, but cheap and easy to put together.

I use 3 foot bamboo stakes. Those plus twist ties work great to prop things up, temporarily or otherwise. They've saved my garden. And for $2 a pack.

I like the trellis idea, I've done something like that before, but on a much smaller scale. I took a few pictures finally, to show you what I'm working with.

Why am I always so sticky after fondling those ladies? Now, THAT'S the question.

The trellis scales easily to any size canopy / grow. It's like an automatic stake. Kinda like fork vs. chopsticks.
