strain in rocklock. plant is 14days veg(24/0) growing very slow. just barely pushed out the first 5 leaf set. she is also a tab lighter green then the other 3 but im pretty sure that is due to the higher indica % than the others that im growing. dont have a ph meter just yet so not sure what ph is. no burned leaves or anything like that but there is definitly something going on. i have 3 more plant in the cab and this is the only one showing this. temp is about 75-85 and it did hit 90 on really hot days. in a 1'x1'x4'. lighting is 4 23w 5000k and one 27w 2700k. is a mostly inorganic medium containing 40% oil dry 40% pumice and 20% potting soil from the local ace hardware so i dont have to water everyday. all strained so partical size is about the same to get good air to the roots and super drainage. will get the brand tomarrow morn. i use this soil mix for mostly all my real bonsai trees and havent had any defencies in the last 5 yrs or so. so im just not sure whats going on. im using neptunes fish and kelp 2-3-1 and another fish emulsion which is 4-1-1 i believe will get brand and npk rating in the morning aswell. feeding neptunes then regular water the next 2 waterings then using the other brand emulsion then 2 watering of reg water then repeat to make sure im getting a nice mix of ferts. using at full strength which is 1tbs per gallon for neptunes and 2tbs per gallon of the 4-1-1. if u need any thing else i left out let me know and ill get u that info asap. thanks in advance for the help

i will borrow a cam tomarrow and get a pic in here. forgot some info. the plant was doing ok minus the slow growth before today. i used the 4-1-1 fish emulsion at full strength yesterday and this afternoon i noticed the leaves curling. maybe to much nutes to early for this strain? but since its an organic nute there is no burning??

do you mean the serrated leaf edge are curling up rather than lying flat? i get this on the top leaves occasionally, and if i raise the light it goes away in a week so i assumed it was heat related. magnesium deficiency can cause leaf curling and pale leaves. it sure wouldn't hurt to foliar spray with 1/4 tsp epsom salt in a liter of water daily for a couple of days in addition to raising the lights

yup that sounds like whats goin on maybe. i did move the lights up a bit when i noticed it just in case and it hasnt got any worse or better. will try the epsom salt. that is just regular table salt right? thanks its greatly appreciated. will still post pics tomarrow

no- epsom salt is magnesium sulfate. ya get it at a drugstore. if you have calmag, you can spray with that also. table salt is sodium chloride and it wil kill your plant

heat stress

heat stress

That is not a magnesium deficiency, that is heat issue.
He said the edges were curling up, he did not say the leaves were folding up.
big difference.
Epsom salts is a good nutrient supplement, but it will not make that problem go away.
Add some Super Thrive to help the plants deal with stress.
Im in FL, and have constant heat issues.
You may want to check out my DYI rez cooler,
30$ instead of 300 and works like a charm.
