CMH has full SPD, so it's good for both veg and bloom. Also has lots of uv in it.

anyone familiar with a dr80 have any idea how i could setup my system so i can cool my hood with all external air and still run a scrubber/fan for the air inside the tent, with one of the openings used for a passive intake. I cant figure out how to do it without cutting a hole….

Your hood not sealed? if not, I think that would be kinda hard......

You could run a 4'' inline fan attached directley to a 4'' Elf filter from HydroHut....pull through scrubber and push out of one of the bottom holes. I think those bottom holes are 4''??

Then run ducting from the other side bottom hole to your hood, then from your hood out the top 5'' hole. (IMO he 5'' hole is a flaw in the tent, it should be 6'')

make sense?

Or run the scrubber out the top and use both bottoms for your hood.

Kind of a screwd up situation.... Id suggest spending $80 on a sealed hood and run a 1 fan system.

Im running a cooltubed 600 HPS in my DR80, and run AT ambient with a 6'' inline.

Good Luck!

hahah what dude you totally misunderstand i already have everything i need and my hood is a sealed cooltube, i just want to cool it independently of the air in the tent so i can supplement CO2 in a controlled manner. I already have multiple fans and a scubber from last run so i have everything i need i just cant figure out how to do it. The way you recommended is flawed because if i exaust the interior air out the top and use the 2 bottom ports for the hood i will not have any form of air intake into the tent that it is reasonable to lightproof.

I finally received my DR60.
Wow.
These things have a high build quality, and it literally took me 5 minutes to setup (and pack up) again. 5.5kg once setup, not bad at all. you can easily move it around (if its empty :p)

I got it discounted for 80 euro, around 120 bucks. Not bad at all for a permanent investment and such a high quality item.

Good to see its almost completely light proofed. I sat inside and closed it up, couldn't see my hand in front of my face. No light leaks here :]

Ventilation wise, these guys did their homework too.

One thing tho, a lot of reputable sources say the pure white matte is always better than hammered silver for reflectivity. Any thoughts ?

cyber echo the pebbled/hammered silver is better in a tent cause the walls of a tent wrinkle and move. once a white tent interior wrinkles you will get hot spots from your light and un-even lighting.

my Growbrite tent from HTGsupply with a white PVC finish has no where near the even light dispersion of either of my silver tents.

Gotcha ;)
I knew there was some kinda logic to it. Thanks mate.

Why did you get the white Growbrite tent and not the silver ones? I have a Mother Keeper from them and it's silver just like the Jardins and GrowLabs I didn't know they had white ones...

Hey how are you guys light proofing the intake and exhaust from your tents? Right now I am making a bend in ducting and painting the inside black. There must be an easier way that limits venting less..

my Growbrite is the old 100 cm model from before they switched to silver, so is my mother keeper
since neither one seems to off-gas I still use them
but you're right the new ones are all silver
