Movin' Up to Ontario - Waterloo/Kitchner Area

Hey guys!
This fall I'm most likely going to be moving up to the Waterloo/Kitcher area. It looks like an awesome city with some awesome people - its also quite close to Toronto (close as I need for now) so thats an added bonus as well.
Any from around that area? How do ya like it?
How expensive is housing on average? I've done some searching on Kijiji but alot of them are just sublets and its hard to find actual "houses or apartments" that are on their own.
Bud prices should be pretty good too which is awesome :) Hopefully I won't need to buy much weed but you never know - I'm from the states originally so the prices are awesome!
:dance013:
Overall would you guys say its a fun place to live? From what I hear and have seen (been there a couple times) I really like it - schools in the area are good too

University chicks are everywhere.

If you are Afro-anything, there is a very strong afrocentric party scene.

Lots of farmland surrounding - so I would expect herb to be plentiful

Oktoberfest is huuuuuuge there - biggest in Canada (I think), so beer and brats aplenty.

Mennonites too.

Good luck

It's about 90 mins. drive to Taranna - lots of herb related activities there.

If y'all don't know what afrocentric means - y'all are white.

Oktoberfest is in October.

Welcome to town, I am not in that area, but I live about an hour away, and I go into town now and then

Pretty central location you have there. I do recommend going about 30 to 40 minutes north into Elora and check out the Gorge
