Mexicangreen420's 165w PL-L Cab of DOOM

Week Nine- April 26th, 2010
Cabinet @ 73-80 F and 64-72 @ night
Humidity @ 30-45%
43 days into 12/12 @ 13-27 days until harvest
Plants continuing to produce new, tight and enlarged calyxes. Pistils are approximately 20% tan/brown/orange and 80% white. The more dominant tops are throwing out tower calyxes, and claw towers sideways as well. The other secondaries seem to have capped off their upward and outward growth, and are ripening somewhat. Everything is very, very frosty right now, and looking ever so tasty. They have recently developed a sweet, citrusy, poopy smell, kind of intoxicating in and of itself. Many of the tiptop single leaves are turning brown/purple from the cold nights. Can't stick my hand in there without getting sticky gooey resin all over it, so i am not going to anymore. After that, the smell really comes out with a vengeance, doesn't smell much like weed though, so far, it's not been a problem. Maintaining a heavy flowering nutrient concentration with daily feedings, as per BioBizz's schedule for a light soil mix. No deficiencies or problems to note. Second 12v 0.16w 80 mm fan added for bud blowing.

killer queen shots

killer queen shots

hey, here are the shot's of the killer queen before drying, unfortunately, my friend did not wait, and i was unable to get full plant pictures. but i can tell you out of a 5 gallon bucket with coco, ffof and light warrior, with about 3 square feet scrog, each, for 3 killer queens (ours has a heavy c99 influence - pineapple, yet floral hashy pheno) produced about 4-6 ounces per plant, each top producing about 1/4-1/2 oz. with around 15 tops per plant.
With 3 plants, all under a 600watt hortilux/digital/aircooled hps. with about 1200ppm co2 during day cycles.
Daytime temp was around 80, nighttime around 65. purpling was just enough that it comes through int he buds, but only on the leaves.
Harvested at 8 weeks, which is a little bit early in my opinion, they would have bulked up some more with another week. trichomes around 10% amber, 60% cloudy, 30% clear.

so 3 plants, yielded around 1lb, all under one 600 watt bulb.

enjoy the bud porn

Week Ten- May 2nd, 2010
Cabinet @ 74-81 F and 62-72 @ night
Humidity @ 35-52%
50 days into 12/12 @ 13-20 days until harvest
Plant's still producing many new spiraled clusters of buds, with enlarged calyxes, and copious amounts of resin. all heads are mostly still clear, with very minimal amount being cloudy. tower calyxes are forming up and out of the larger buds, lower nuggets are swelling up, and hardening. everything is coated with resin at this point. the buds look very sativa like in formation, with a heavy, indica coating of resin.
Nute's still given at max concentration, for at least 7 more days. Judging by my previous experiences, i would say that i just might surpass my previous 90 gram estimate. Not holding my breath though. Depending on what the leaves tell me, i will continue light nutrient feeding, for approximately 8-12 days. at which time, i will use plain RO with molasses for flushing and ripening. Given until all leaves become deficient, at which point i will give 24-48 hours of darkness and chop. Depending on how long i can hold out of course. would like to take it to 70, maybe see some serious tower calyx formation.

Wow, loving the 600 harvest and the pll stuff is frosty as snow. I see you've been pushing the PPMs lol. Great work man, enjoy.

thanks scrub, the co2 is in my buddy's room.... i refuse to use bottled co2, so i don't know proper ppm's, only what he uses. i have some plant pics from the killer queen coming shortly. frosty like the snowman.

Haha, yeah, I try to find where they start to burn, and pull back on feeding, then water until they start to use reserves.... then feed.... etc etc... but this plant EATS!!! as soon as i feed plain water, it starts using leaves up, so i found myself using my ferts at full strength, which i never have done, and her lower leaves still tell me she wants more....
so what was feed, water, feed water.... became feed, feed, feed, water.
so far... i am very satisfied with the line-up of ferts from biobizz, and would absolutely buy more, but i will also buy more cal-mag and some silica supplement as well.

so walked in my room where the cab is today, with a friend, who doesn't know... his first question when he walked in the door was, "why does it smell like skittles in here?" with a chuckle, i said i didn't know, maybe my girlfriend had some?

but he was right, it smells like freaking skittles. sweet eh?
