Flood Crisis! Advice needed

Ive had a grow site in the same creek bottom for years without problems,(thank god not my only site), but we got 9 1/2 inches of rain in 36 hrs this weekend.!! I went and checked as soon as the rain stopped and the water was only ankle deep around the plants, so i thought " great!, it will drain off in a few hours and all will be fine". I failed to consider that 3/4 of a mile down the creek is the river, which blew past flood stage like the wind and now the backwater is pushing up this creek. This morning, my plants are under 6' of water.

IVe had plants survive after being completely submerged for 32 hrs, but these may be under for several days.

Will they survive and for how long completely submerged? Theyre knee high.

happened to me last year with fully budded plants. I was growing in a swamp and beavers made a nice new dam! They had been under for a few days. I was able to fish a few out alive, but a few died. If they die, you should at least be able to replant this season... Hope it turns out well for you peace!!!!!!

DS, never had them completely under water just a foot or so for a few days and survive.
I wish you the best I have dealt with this type of weather the last few years. They only time I had them completely submerged they died when the water receded. I hope yours make it but as you already probably know you still have plenty of time for another grow. Please keep us posted on how they do but in my experience its not good.

You might consider taking some cuttings and cloning when you can get to them
if they are still there and big enough. Put the cutting ends right into some fresh
water soon as you make the cut. Keep the cuttings in water, change water daily
until you feel comfortable that they will survive.
Then just clone in plain water under fluros or use your preferred method of rooting.

I know that there are some experts on here that can help hone this idea.

I have not tried this, but it is worth a shot...
Let us know how it works out if you decide to try this idea.

Had nearly my whole crop submerged for 1-3 days last season, no losses, no problems.
Been asking the same question ever since, but no answer so far, apparently even the ICMind doesn't know everything.

3 years back I had to abandon a spot due to flooding. The spot was near the banks of a tributary, which flooded when the main river reached flood stage. The tributary's water could not drain and instead began to flow upstream, flooding large portions of its banks. The water eventually rose some 15 feet and stood for several weeks. Once it receded, all the two stage flowering plants like weed were dead, the smaller trees that were submerged looked as if it were winter instead of summer. The flood level could be seen in the taller trees because everything below the water line was brown.

The flooding started in March and didn't recede until late June. I went in three weeks after, and the ground was still super muddy and some areas still had several inches of standing water.
