Lower leaves turning yellow quick... Need Help Using Bio-Bizz.

Hello Every1. Having some issues. I'm trying "soilless" again. Wanted to give organic fertilizers a go. Well here is the Greenhouse Super Lemon Haze(fem), and she's about 5 weeks from seed. Been giving her(and 2 other strains) the full Bio Bizz line(except Top max, and Bloom. Still vegging) for about 2 1/2 weeks now. She seemed to like it, though I did feel that her green was 2 dark, but she took off. Now yesterday(last night), her 2 lower leaves started to fade to a lighter color. This morning the leaf was the single leaf pic, I posted below. Then by this afternoon, the next set of lower leaves started to fade color. It seems I was watering every other day. It would go dry in less than 48 hrs. I would let the plant start drooping, then give it a good watering. The pH run off is at 6.5. I am using Sunshine Organic Planting Mix(Soilless) I felt maybe I needed to transplant, so I did, being that it was in the same 16oz cup from it's first planting a month ago. Also as I mentioned earlier, that I was feeding ever other day, due to the soil drying out soooo quick. Didn't look like it was root bound, but when I transplanted, I couldn't break up the media. Even though it all looked like media, it seemed it was mostly roots, to the touch(if that makes sense to any1). Wat I am trying to say is when I looked at the media, I could see a bunch of roots coming out of the media, but when I went to break up the media a little to transplant, it felt like I was gonna mostly rip the roots, so I left it in tact, and just transplanted to a 1 gallon pot. Hope I gave enuff info for someone to know wat the problem is. If I need to give anymore info, please ask me the questions. Thanks every1! Oh yeah here is wat I feed it. I use 1/2 the recommended dosage. I also thought that maybe(even though its really green) that I was underfeeding her, but I didn't want to up her nutes until someone says I'm feeding too low. Here is the recipe: Every mixing is done using 2 liters of water. So those #s below is not per liter, but instead the actual amount for the 2 liters. I first pH my water to 6.8-7.1, and after mixing the pH is at 6.5-6.7, and it reads about 530 PPMs.

a) 2 mL Bio-Heaven
b) 1.25 mL Root Juice
c) 1.25 mL Grow
d) 1.25 mL Fish Mix
e) 1.25 ml Alg-A-Mic

People please help me correct this problem. Many thanks!

Thanks for the compliment brother, but ur saying it's normal for young leaves to turn yellow? None of my other plants have ever turned yellow this early. Though I've always grew Hydro, except 1 time, and that was a disaster, LOL! Remember it's not in flowering, and its only 35 days old, so I really don't see why any leaves should be yellowing this early.

Can anyone else agree with that diagnosis???

It is pretty normal for the very first sets of leaves to die off in alot of plants, they just dont get the energy the rest of the plant gets. You're obviously keeping good watch on the girls, make sure it doesnt start yellowing further up the plant. The rest of the plant looks great.

Doesn't look normal to me. That single leaf pic in particular looks like nute burn. I'd give just plain water for a few feedings and see if it doesn't get better, then maybe just a little grow - at least until it gets a little bigger. I think all that stuff you're feeding is too much for a young seedling.

lol, its not nute burn. how big is that container? looks pretty small to me. if its been growing in that same container for 5 weeks then its root bound and thats why those lower nodes are dying off. transplant it into a larger container, 1 gal if putting immediately into flower or 2-3 gal if vegging out, and go ahead and strip off those single leaflets, as those should be trimmed anyway. id go ahead and remove both of those yellowing nodes (both leaves and branches) if you are gonna veg it some, as i remove those on all my plants anyway, they never grow as large as the upper nodes and those buds are guaranteed popcorn. for nutes i have no experience with what youre using but the plants look very healthy, whatever youre using is working so keep at it.

i definitely agree, that does not look normal to me either. thats a classic example of nitrogen deficiency.
lower leaves start to yellow and die off.
other than that it looks pretty damn good to me man.

because... everything i eat is from the earth, right? i am what i eat straight up earth, right? nothing but a walkin sack of earth...

I've used the BioBizz products, but not in soiless (which I find to be tricky). With the exception of the bottom set of leafs the plant looks very healthy. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it continues. It is easy to overreact to this kind of stuff and messing stuff up.

Thanks brother, I appreciate it.

Thanks for the compliment. It was in a 16 oz cup for a lil over 5 weeks. Yesterday I transplanted it to the 1 gallon container it's in now , that u see in the pic.

How did u use Bio-Bizz? Not in Hydro? The reason I ask is I want to use it in my drip system, but am putting it off. Scared, I'm gonna mess it up, and waste $$$$$. Ur right about overreacting and messing it up. I started out aggressive, but seems to have stopped since yesterday's feeding.

I did look around for diagnosis pics, and seems that N def is wat it really looks like. I saw some plants that had the same exact yellowing on lower leaves. I have experienced N def, where it was uniform on the plant, from top to bottom, not only on the bottom, so that's why I found it a little hard to be that. But after further reading, maybe it was.

I would still love to hear other opinions. Not to say no one is wrong, I just want to see how many people agree with us. Thanks all.

I use it in dirt. I think I've read somewhere that it isn't suitable for hydro applications.

311: OK, if you had just transplanted it before the pic, youre fine then. those yellow leaves will stay yellow and die off but any further growth will be OK

I also have read some threads, that say it isn't BUT, for flowering it is. The ones that are strongly advised not to be used in Hydro applications, are Fish Mix and Grow, but all the other bottles came with Hydro instructions on them for Hydroponic application. And even then, I was told by Bio-Bizz that Grow % Fish Mix CAN be used in Hydro, but it's very tricky, and u have to know what u're doing, and obviously, I don't know what I'm doing, so I will hold off on using it in Hydro.

Thanks. I just pulled those leaves off. y younger plant started doing the same yesterday, So I went ahead and transplanted all 3 of them. And yes Canada Dry is tasty, but u can't knock Schwepp's!
