Greetings everyone, I finally decided to make a thread to hilight my growing experiences. I am in the midst of my 3rd ever grow. The two previous grows were both DWC, which turned out pretty well, but independent bubble buckets are a huge pain to work with after a while.
Here is my first ever grow

My second grow

I yielded 8 oz from 3 white widow plants my first attempt, 600w DWC, 12 oz
(6 were lost to mold) from 2 blue widow and 1 trainwreck x skunk plant, 1000w DWC.

5x5 secret jardin dr150

600 watt HPS, sealed reflector, 6" can fan for cooling

400 watt MH, batwing, no cooling mechanism

250 watt MH batwing in the veg area

Flowering- 4 Island Sweet Skunk from clone, started 1/15, flowering since 4/1
2 Purple haze from clone, 2 big buddha cheese from clone, both started 1/10, flowering since 4/1/10

Veg room-3x6-10 clones of each Alaskan Thunderfuck and Island Sweet skunk, 1 mother plant of each

Everything is in FF Ocean Forest augmented with botanicare nutes, and despite all these people complaining about FFOF, I have no problems or complaints, my plants are doing awesome. Now for some eye candy-

Yeah because if one of your neighbors gets sand in her vagina it would really f you over.

I actually met my neighbor the other night, who has cancer and just went through a second round of chemo. The first thing she said to me was 'Sorry if I seem spacey, I'm high as hell.' Of course, the first rule of fight club is don't talk about fight club, so I just smiled and nodded. Nice lady though.

Picture update

23 days in flower
I put the lights in a better configuration that cools the batwing a little better.
Louder than words-

Is it too late to prune these girls? Alot of the lower buds seem way shaded, if i cut off a bunch of fan leaves it'd bring alot of light down there, but I've heard there is a cutoff for cutting-off.

cool pics. what size pots are you using? i also use ffof, but add some sunshine mix, which is peat moss and perlite mostly.

tip staff

i noticed you lost some to mold, could you pass on any words of wisdom to avoid mold? (i'm figuring you found a way to prevent mold after that)

yesum- I am using 3 gallon pots on the big ones, and 2 gallon with the smaller girls. They are in straight ffof. My buddy just started my clones in some sunshine mix and he says they are super happy. I may try it out next time.

tip staff- The buds got moldy because I thought I dried em enough before they went into jars. The stems were snapping, but were so fluffy that after a week in the jars, 2 out of the 3 plants nugs were molded.

Jdizzel- I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. Do you mean to capture run off from watering? I use plastic trays from garden centers. If there is alot of water in them a day after watering i empty them to reduce humidity.

Does anyone know whats wrong with these clones?
They are Alaskan thunderfuck in ffof, about 4 weeks since they were cut. I water them with RO, no nutes.

im sure thats one of the problems is that they are rootbound or close to it.
in those 16 oz cups those look like, and at the size that plant is at, those roots have to be good and packed in there... i would most definitely for one transplant them into at least a 1 gallon for now. and then transplant as needed.
thats definitely one problem i see.

and a good way to keep the roots in check in those cups is to take clear cups + red or blue cups and plant them into the clear. use the colored cup as a "sleeve" over the clear cup. that way you can check them when you need to with ease. make sure you cut good sized slits into the very corners on the bottom of each cup for drainage.

Now at day 56. They are putting on some weight, and some trichs are starting to turn milky. Ill probably begin flushing in the next week or 2.

I see this often on clones. I've found it to be just isolated leaves that mutate a little. It never seems to effect the plant or yield etc... Killer lookin grow mon..
