Hi i am starting this thread because there is not much information out there on house and garden.In this thread you can discuss anythang about house and garden and any experiance you have with the product. Anythang you have learned and any techniques would be most valuable. Lets start of with a few questions i have. When using house and garden do you use full strength exactly by there feed charts or half. Your experiance with the feed charts and exactly how much you use without problems would be greatly appreciated. Also do you feed water feed or feed feed feed? And finally tap or RO whats your experiance does it work ok with tap? Because i started off as recomended for cutting and possibly have some burn already but also just introduced to 1000 watt so to many variables there i am using tap. thank you lets get as much info on this thread ass possible so others looking for this info will have a great reference thank you so much in advance and grow hard!.............................................................

Also when starting young clones off under a 1000 hps how close to the light should you start out? and any one have experience with a sylvania lumalux 1000 watt its a cheaper bulb is it ok? thank you .

I switched from fox farm to aqua flakes, it is much more ph balanced... In 6 dwc's the ph raised at the exact same level, with ff they were all over the place. And I have read lots of places that it is designed for r/o. Been using it for about 3 months, veg only, plants love it. I just however bumped it up from 5.5ml/gal to 6.5. ph to 5.5 add roots excelorator, silica blast, aqua sheild, and earth nectar/earth ambrosia.

I absolutely swear by this line, the root excelerator is worth it's weight in gold. I grow in coco, I use the entire h&g line, from aqua flakes a & b, to multi-zen (was multi zyme), top booster, bud xl, root excelerator, drip clean, silica blast. I add a ph product for up and down, molassas at every feeding, and with how I feed, if I need to chop early for whatever reason I don't need a flush for awesome tasting buds.

I followed the sched exactly. First time I have used one and have it work perfectly.

Next run on H&G I am trying feed water feed water just to see what happens.

Most manufacturers use guidelines to create their schedules!
Which is understandable! As far as I know the values of the
scheduler, are focused on a pure water EC of 0.4

Imo a simple way to find out the optimal feed values is
to measure your pure water EC and to write it down!
then, slowly add the fertilizer(in 1ml/L steps) and
always write down the EC value!

Create you own schedule and you're going to have no probs

does anyone know why H&G has two enzyme products...one for early in flower and one for late? are they actually different?

two enzyme products? Algen Extract and Multizyme right? one is for veg and the other is for flower.

Algen Extract isn't an enzyme. Its a kelp extract that, IMO, is very over priced.

You could use Neptunes Harvest Seaweed, Liquid Karma, B-Seaweed from Technaflora, Nitrozyme....or any other kelp product in substitution of AE. JMO tho.

Both are used in veg.....Multi Zen (Multizyne) goes a lil into flower if my brains serves my right.

The new General Organics Bio Weed would work to no? It's nice a green and thick kinda pea soup like but a lighter shade of green. I have the whole H&G line except Top Shooter and Algen Extract w Cocos A&B as my base.

Yea I think you could use that instead. Although I think that is more Humic Acid than Kelp. ?

I can't remember if I noted a difference after using the Top Booster or not. I use it tho. Its one of the cheaper additives and you use very little of it. Why not, why not.

The algen is awesome, very concentrated, i use 1-2 ml's per gal. but the growth ive seen since i started using it, is unreal.
