Yeah that is defiantly Nitrogen deficiency.

Check out the guide to sick plants. Your plant looks just like the nitrogen deficency example. Half dose of a veg fert should clear it right up.

Here is the infirmary guide to sick plants.

Get you some nutes like Barth said. You'll need veg and bloom. Some folks say tomato ferts will work but the learning curve might be a little more steep. Like Barth said, half dose and watch the results before adding more. A slight burn on the tip of the fans won't hurt the plants and you'll know you're at maximum strength. If burned tips are a bummer then back off the nutes a little. Your yellow leaves won't recover but you should see a healthier green with the new growth.

Damn you're fast DiscoBiscuit. HAHA :tiphat:

Thank you guys so much ! :) Maybe the immediate nitrogen deficiency was caused by owerwatering, cuz i placed the plants on paper towels which soaked the water out a little, with all the nutes dissolved. I have Orchid nutrient or so, that is 20-13-14, and 11% of nitrogen in nitrate because i heard it works better, i'll add some to next watering, because my soil is still wet and i don't want to overwater any more ;) take care guys and i'll keep you posted !

What i have heard is that mediums that have a lot of bark in it robs the soil of nitrogen because it's used it to break up the bark. You could have also flushed the soil by over watering. Your plants are also getting bigger and using a lot more nutes from the soil. Not that much available nutes in that small of a pot.

good luck.

You're gonna need Mg for the flower transition. I'd go ahead and plan on using it through the third week of flower in most cases. Mg doesn't taste very good, you might want to take it no longer than mid-flower.

Give it another day until your next watering. They should start to grow again.

Has the yellowing slowed? Like Disco said the yellowing that has already happened wont turn green again but new growth should be nice and green.

How far is your light from your plants? It can be as close as 4 inches if possible with out burning. Move it that close a little at a time. Check with the backside of your hand. If it burns your hand or then it is to close.

i think that the yellowing slowed, but the dark spots showed up today, check my previous post, i added a photo, instead of the one that was doubled, it's the biggest, tallest, most yellow plant. oh yeah and my lamp is currently 8" above the tops, and it doesnt feel too warm on my hand, so i'll hang it little bit lower. maybe i should let the soil dry out completely in my garden (water next time when they wilt a little) so i'll know for sure that the soil is not wet/compact inside, because it feels dry at the top, but who knows how wet is it at the bottom. please tell me what you think ;) bobo

I dont see any spots on the newer growth only the yellow leaves. If that is correct id say that the leaf is just dying off. It should be ok. Just start feeding with every other water and you should start seeing results.

Now as far a watering i wouldn't let them wilt first. I water by the weight of the pot. Feel it right after you water and then lift them up daily to see if they feel light. When they feel light water them.

See the chart for distances of the light.

Awesome!!! They really took off. I would be proud too. However the true pride comes from kicking back and enjoying the product of your hard work and patience.

Looking forward to seeing them flowering.

Also, I'm looking forward to transplanting them to a 12 liter pots, and I'll need soil to fill them. What would you recommend, should I stick to MG, or make something good for flowering ?

I have never used any of the additives that you mentioned. Check out my diary on the first post i explain all i use. I also use the least expensive soil that the hydro store sells. It is also listed on my diary. I have only used Fox Farm ocean forest and mixed my own peat based soil. I didn't have the best results with my own mix. If MG is working for you and is easily accessible, go with what works.

I will probably buy Fox Farm soil mix next time I'm in my favourite garden center, also something organic for blooming. I'm switching to flowering tomorrow ;) I wish only 2 plants will be female, so I'll not have a hard time deciding which 2 to keep, and I won't fell bad by letting one female go ;P
