Seeds size.

Hello fellow growers. I have just harvested one branch of my seeded nirvana bubblicious, and it surprises me how small the seeds are. They are the tiniest seeds i have ever seen. 1/4 the size of some seeds i had last year! I read somewhere that Th. seeds bubblegums seeds was huge. Can someone tell me how big there bubblegum seeds was? and one more thing, i plan on crossing bubblicious whit blueberry anyone knows the size of blueberry seeds?

Yah the size of the seeds indicates very little.

The Skunk #1 seeds that I ran were larger than any other cannabis seed I've ever seen, including seeds I've seen pics of on here, but the calyxes in flowering are TINY.

I would seeds size is dependent as much on the phenotype as on the strain itself, so again, it means very little if anything at all.

Anyways, my Bubblegum seeds were slightly below average in size compared to other seeds.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for replies! i personal prefer large cannabis seeds. I think they looks pretty when large and are a bit easier to handle if that makes sense.

Let me bring in a Rob Clarke quote I thought was interesting about seed size.

"It is generally agreed that the production of large calyxes is often as important in determining the psychoactivity of a strain as the quantity of calyxes produced. Hindu Kush, Thai, and Mexican strains are some of the most psychoactive strains, and they are often characterized by large calyxes and seeds. "

edit: that said I've had several strain/seeds that have been really, really small that were dank. lol

A vegetable gardening catolgue I have says, give boron to Sunflower plants to maximize seed production, according to them, " boron is the nutrient plants use to form big vigorous seeds"

My 3rd Eye seeds are some of the absolute biggest I've ever seen, bout the size of a bb, and they pop out a super tiny seedling. My HeadBand seeds are teeny fuggers, and boy they get huge.
