My Buddies plants went into bud twice last spring, and they went back to veg, and turned into Monsters, and budded out in fall just fine

That depends on the genetics. I've seen stuff put out early that never hinted at flower and at the other end of the spectrum stuff that went in pretty deep and when it seemed they were just starting to crank again it was time for them to go back into flower...and everything in between.

What He said was, it was best to cut off the buds, or they would be all tweaked. He hasnt planted yet this year

My experience is when stuff goes into flower early you do not cut off the buds (trim tops) but wait for the plant to start reverting back to veg and carefully cut out the flowering portions and leave the growing tips and fan leaves. There's a difference. It's a PITA in the field but best approach IME. If you have a bunch of stuff go into flower early means you're making a LOT of hash early summer. Rarely plants will keep flowering and finish off properly but sometimes they do.

If you do not cut out the flowering portions after the plant goes back into veg then yes a a problem as that stuff will simply die off and rot out.

right i guess a better way to phrase the question would be how many night with supp light would trigger flowering to the point where it wouldnt keep vegging/ or easily revert back to veg?

phate, in my neck of the woods we'll be renting a cement mixer. $50/day for a gas powered one on a trailer. there was a smaller one for $25 but the $50/day one looks like it'll handle one of our holes per batch (100 gal). I can't imagine it getting any easier than that..

Got a bunch more amendments out to the land today.. Then I learned how to drive a tractor while my buddy sat/stood in the bucket up front and lopped off branches all along the path we'll be using.. Ohhh was it a sight to see.

Next weekend it's digging the holes with the backhoe and fillin' em up!

Usually the stuff you lop off tends to be full of early clear trichs. I make hash with it, and it's always an added early summer treat.

I get that you are off the grid, TJO. How are u giving them sup light? Car headlights? Otherwise, there has got to be a way to rig a timer to your batteries... I have an extra car battery lying around here... brand new backup... you're welcome to use it if you like. I am going to GKG today and could drop it. There has got to be some kind of 12vDC timer you could rig up.

I do not have an answer to your question about how many days is OK... The one strain that I allowed to reveg last year after early flowering (the others got stuck in the balck box where they belonged) was a heavily Indica dom Razzberry... Mold began in the =twisted leaves that came out at the beginning of reveg. Each one curled over a budsite that started in the early flowering... lemme see if i can dig up a pic.

IMO, if any of this mutant leaf action happens, you should ditch the plant, or throw it into a forced flower and let nature continue.

I had that happen with silverhaze and I had no problems. I had to do a large pruning on her after she started to revert back, but she then took 2 months of vegging outside before she started to flower again. I think the longer amount of time for reveg definitely had some effect on how the plant handled it.

osoloco69, nobody can see your posts but me and admin, I do not know what happened, but I advise you start a new account and try to piss fewer folks off, .
I guess if I would have been racist and said spic I would still be here. Saying anything bad about og/chem/diesel lines is a NONO!!! Once again I am at a loss for the way this place runs. Maybe it's time for the 4chan and somethingaweful guys to come on here so the mods can have something to do besides play the clique game and bolster the reps of their friends while banning anyone who has any negative experience with their strains. If I pay the $250 can I play too? I'd love to be able to say anything without regard for rules and ban people who me and my clique don't like. How much do I have to pay to be able to ban other people who paid exclusively to eliminate negative writeups about their stuff? Hmmm....

I asked him again today at work. He said they went into bud twice. the buds were big enough that he got an ounce of imature. The plants lagged for awhile but ended up putting out about a pound apiece. As I remember He was real pissed off when it happened last year, and it did set him back. The strain is an old California purple indica dom. He is going to plant this weekend.
