When poison oak is burned, the lovely oil that causes the rash vaporizes and once airborne can infect your entire respiratory system and body. Just think of a rash inside your lungs......!!!! Ouch. Well, the good thing is if someone trys to rip you they will PAY in the end!! itch itch.

I was hoping someone would say it was something else but the place is a virtual plantation of it! I will keep it away and feel I have been very lucky in 2+ years of not realizing that this is poison oak! After all the rain it is really florishing too! Long sleeved shirts and gloves have helped stave off the effects, I have upon occassion had very small outbreaks on my hands from handling my clothing after a trip in, no more, thanks again! Here are some recent work on the rez camos. Areas need to be level to support the weight of 300 pounds of water per can and are on an incline. Note the lower branches cut out to place the cans but overhead ones are remaining to help cool and conceal. the WW photos show poison oak very close and all around!

great info I can't wait to try some of your tecqniques I find it impossible some times to make it to water alot of plants so last year I did fewer plants than in years past and checked on them more often

B.M. very inspiring !! How high do your plants get , do you keep um in buckets thur out the grow... i think u could use fake plastic plants to hide your rez system, have u ever tried ? Thanks for knowledge

Greetings Hovah! I do several grows, the spring start indoors and are 2 1/2 feet going out, finish at 3-4 mostly, full season is next at the same 2/1/2 feet and are LST'ed so they aren't so noticable, they finish at 12-18 feet (strain specific) the three gallon buckets are for short season crops of spring and after June so they finish at 3 feet. Full season ones demand larger containers so this year it looks like 13 gallon trash bags, I hollow out "holes" in shrubs and place inside, this hides the pot and keeps the container cooler too! And as you will soon see the rezs are totally hidden with "cutouts" in large bushes and small trees, then replacing the "cutout" with more similar foilage.

This is the same spot after cutting and then with cans placed in, next you won't see them! :biglaugh: And this is deer/rabbit fencing, luckily already green, so its harder to see.

I have been thinking of getting the DIY "ark" plans, with all the rains! :biglaugh: I was able to get some really great camoed rez spots. I will show an open one, it is slightly covered but thats not good enough, I abandoned it for the totally covered one. There are several pictured here, one with four cans, one with seven, the others (5,2) have been shown previously. There still remains to mix the soil with verm/perl and add the polymers, small in comparision to hiding the rezs! But it's getting close to finished! :canabis:

open to much!!

slight camo, but not enough!! This was abandoned!

under trees totally covered!

Front opening this will get filled in too! There are 7 cans in there!
Four cans under a thicket of trees leveled and ready to go!! My daughter looks on inspecting the work! lol These rains increased the rodent population and more rattlers are about, we saw a few baby rattlers and they are silent too! So snake boots are next!

More poison oak getting a good start on more growth!

so you veg to 2.5ft then, for full season grow you place them in 13 gallon containers and this is the crop you get a pound per plant.. 2nd. Q. on what day do you plan on starting your seasonal grow, im guessing between May1 & June 10... Thanks again

This might help you BMF. It has been real handy for me. Helps me get them in line inside before going out. Sunrise-Sunset

I look at the Farmers Almanac and look for the good days in May then look at the length of those days on the other chart and get the lights inside as close to that duration as possible. Looking good so far. Keep us posted.

I will look at the Old Farmers Almanac but still I will go out in April as they will get more light before triggering bloom. But that is good advice!! TY!

sorry no recent updates; I have started a "new' gig, believe it or not, lol! I was in there two days ago(outdoor spot) to spray Liquid Fence and the WW have about a week give or take, they could have used a lil more water too, so yeilds lighter than normal, but for an early spring "hands free" with many cloudy days its something to get a harvest at all! I am transplanting the clones tonite to pots to root up some so trans into outdoor pots is an easy transition. The mini-cup results are comin' in too and I will post the results soon too. C-Yas soon!
