This is basically a miniature of large commercial harvesters. You may wish to consider a larger mesh than 1/8th inch. I think the vermicompost will need to be dried somewhat to not plug up 1/8th inch. With commercial harvesters the larger mesh necessary usually means most egg capsules go through.

Thanks for posting. I only wonder how strong those rollers are if you put too much material in it looks like it would snap them pretty easily.

now it just needs to be scaled down for home use:) That thing looks like it belongs on a farm or something of the nature. I would like to see a scaled down portable version sitting directly over a storage been. So that all we have to do is remove the drum or whatever it is and just snap the lid shut until its time to use the castings. Also would be cool because if any eggs get in there they should be able to hatch since the ewc should still be kept moist until its time of use. Nice post my friend, I saw one that a couple sells from home but they want some crazy amount of money.
