Whats wrong with the one safety, cover-1 defense? They're giving up too much size up front? Dont they pull the safety for an extra linebacker?
Theres a pretty small chance of this happening but i think its possible for a 5-11 team to go 11-5 or 12-4 the next year. Its happened before. Now, this could happen if the offense plays out of its mind next year; Campbell makes Washington regret trading him, and the running backs breaking big runs. The potential is there, it just has to be fulfilled. And a little luck never hurt.

Me personally id rather see a variety cover 2, cover 3, lots of movement so Qb cant make reads quickly.. Plus to me cover one if you have a receiver that must be doubled and safey comes over to help the seams are wide open especially when a team is playing smashmouth and LB's are up.. TE will kill you.. again i dont see the raiders winning more than 8 games possibly 9.. if we can beat the shitty teams it can be done, hopefully the raiders can figure out if you beat a good team, its not the superbowl get ready for the next team act like you did this before... Sacko, hate to be a party pooper but Campbell is an improvement but not the answer, you have high potential with that O, you have a excellent TE in Zach Miller, a handful of speedy play making WR: Louis Murphy and Johnny Lee Higgins, then you got a good trio of RB's. Your D isn't bad at all they proved that with the amounts of wins you guys ended up with. Also if Hayward-Bay can pick it up that it'll be a nice bunch of weapons for a real QB. Campbell can be the QB for the next 2-3 seasons but I think you need to look forward to next years draft and try and get on of those college QB's close to you in Washington's Jake Locker or Stanford's Andrew Luck, let them sit a year or two behind Campbell than BAM! The raiders will be back.

If I were a betting man I'd bet on the Raiders going 8-8 this year. And if i had good odds, like 12-1 or 15-1, on the Raiders making the playoffs, I'd lay a bet on that.

baba, I usually always agree with you but I am in total disagreement with your current post. Ok the LT stuff got a bit cleared up and now what we know is that he is only getting charged with Consensual sex with a minor (rape in 3rd degree class E felony) this is the big charge that he will fight. If LT only got blowjob from the girl "by law" thats not sex and he won't be charged. The other charge is soliciting prostitution, which is not a heavy charge at all more embarrassing than anything.
