Finding MJ plants in the wild

Nearly everywhere I go, I'm always looking around in the vegetation hoping to see some wild MJ plants. So today, I was searching for a good spot to do a grow outdoors and stumbled upon a little patch of MJ plants growing in a dead tree. They're probably crappy hemp strains but it has me excited nonetheless! I can't wait to go check back on them in a few weeks or so.

Anyone else unexpectedly find wild MJ?

Never have. Hemp strains in a tree? Hmmmm - you might have found a plot of cannabis - seems more likely to me

It's allover in the midwest like wildfire.. nothing special here.. thousands of them everywhere

Wild hemp is very common in north amercia.

I would be tempted to drop a few sativa seeds in with that lot

It could have been another person's grow, maybe someone thinking along the same line as me. And I'm in the midwest too, but I've never seen a plant growing in the wild until now.

As long as you know it is wild grown, ie: if you see any reason to believe someone put it there I would leave it be. Don't be assumed as a ripper as many growers won't really care for your answer especially if you are fiddlin with their girls.

wild grown would be great to locate for sure!

yeah I've seen wild hemp growing right along paved roads in iowa and illinois.
smells pretty good, tastes like shit, no buzz, only a headache if you try.
everybody knows this so they leave it alone but you can get arrested if you
harvest it.
