Growing Pot of gold flying dutchmen in aeroflo..
Under 400w master son t pia plus. 45 cm from plant tops.
Ph 5.7 / 5.8 most of the time,
water temperature is 20 to 23.

Using Ghe Flora.

Ec was 1.2 from start of second week. to day 13. i am at day 15 now. and its 1,7..

my problem is that the plants height in 14 days only have grown 3 to 4 cm.. plants was 7cm at day 13.

i got no idea what the hell i am doing wrong.i had more growth in a aquafarm, one guy told my fertilizers was to old. but where i bought it, he says it can't be to old.

can it be that i am using the wrong bulb for growth ?, would be weird if it was.

i dont have any pictures,

Dude the size of your plants is 100% normal. In the early vegetative cycle the plant is focusing a lot of energy on developing its root base. Most of the growth is probably happening below the surface that u can't see. Your setup and nutrients all sound fine so there's no reason the plants should be stunted. Often times, the plant will spend 2-3 days building up its root base and then unleash on getting taller for the next 2-3 days and then go back to developing root base again and so on...

Perhaps hang the lights roughly 60cms away from the plants for now until they get a bit taller & stronger and then you can decrease the distance to 30cm. Although if they dont appear to have any heat stress or light burn at the moment then 45cm should be fine.

Your ph level sounds fine, (5.8-6.0 is the ideal ph range for a hydro setup). I grow in soil so i don't know what EC level you should be keeping it at in the 2nd week so i cant help u there.

Hopefully this reassures you a bit, sounds like ur on the right track tho.

Hmmm well if they're clones they'll need a lot more time to develop a new root system so this might explain the stunted development.

you may not be doing anything wrong, just suss out if it's growing a good root mass as it may take a while if they're clones. if it's got a decent root mass and it's still growing slow as maybe boost the nutes a bit.

thx for answers i tryed to rais Ec now..to 1.9, and looks like The pure likes it .
can it be because i should let the clones develop small rootsystem in the grodans before moving them to the aeroflo. and then they will grow a bit quicker ? maybe i should do that next time.

Yep i'd say that would be the case. Your clones sound like they will be fine but next time wait until the root system has developed a bit more. When you clone, the plant is in its most delicate and fragile period of its life so they will need time to recover from the shock of being clipped from the mother plant and also to form it's own root system. It doesnt surprise me that they're growing slowly. Make sure your rooting hormone solution is the best you can buy and also try adding a nutrient like Super Vit to give the roots of each clone a bit of a boost at life haha.
