The grower who supplies my one of my guys has some serious skill. These buds are fantastic, he grows non commercial shit like dj's strains, perfectly cured, bagged only once between the harvest table and my jar.

but this guy is too concerned with keeping his room 100% organic to do anything about the intense PM problem which has taken over everything. what's worse is my phish-lovin birkenstock wearing dealer seems to agree with the grower that its better to be organic with PM than use chemical fungicides to get rid of the problem. and i feel like i'm the only one who says anything about it, because he keeps on getting new stuff, it still has PM, and people just keep on buying it. and this guy is legit. he's credited with helping to breed a strain which has a number of threads about it.... he's not just some dealer. but WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK man. all i want to do is smoke some of that lovely f13 or some of that s.a.g.e. x mountainJam or that salish but i can't bear to smoke that nasty nasty diseased bud! WHY DO YOU LET YOUR BEAUTIFUL WORK BE POISONED BY PM?????? PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SACRIFICE A SINGLE CROP FOR THE HEALTH OF YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!! pleeeeeeeease. i'm forced to smoke sub-par bud that was grown by somebody smart enough to know selling diseased bud is unacceptable.

Shit, I was out one Spring checking a trusted spot, only to come across some mary jane plants that were a year dead, but still stuck in the ground. Imagine the black & gray skeleton of a plant...you could still pick out a couple of pieces of plant matter that could have once been leaves attached to the stem, but that was about it. Shit was dry, ground up nice, didn't smoke overbearingly harsh. I'm pretty sure I was high...can't imagine all the fungus and shit that I smoked...

yes bro, a few years back a friends grow had pm......about 10 elbows of ssh and white widow got tainted by the shit. ended up just giving most away to be water cured or what the fuck ever they wanted to do with it, but some folks was still slingin it around cheap......dumbass fellas

Yea peeps get carried away with that all organic crap what good is being all organic when they have pm. I knew this other guy that had mites kept using all this organic crap on them I think the mites enjoyed it because they were everywhere this guy eventually lost his whole garden and never grew again amazing that somebody would lose all rather then use something that would actually fix his problem.

Seen alota PM on local stuff...usually just let grower know how to fix it (eagle 20, good ventilation, low humidity, etc)

Tell these fools to quit messing around.. Couple of totally organic ways to eliminate PM to the point where it will never get into the buds, and they simply require religious application until the issue is resolved.

This ish is organic and will handle the pm thing like 99%.

A good spray down every 2 weeks, and a good cleanup of the room will basically keep the plants PM free.

Neem will work as an excellent organic preventative as well. I actually liked it better for that. Would use greencure first to blast everything real good and kill any spores, then like a week later start neem applications every 2 weeks to stop it from coming back.

4 dollar sprayer that will make it super easy to hit the undersides of the plant and really ensure full coverage.

Can't say these organic methods are brutal enough to stop the pm from ever coming back, but if done like I broke down, the pm will never be able to get a foothold and thus will not be able to contaminate the buds.

Just be nice about it, obviously some pride involved, but if you gently let them know about these products and that they are totally organic and break down in about 2 weeks (thus safe to use in flower) they will hopefully get on it.

i call them up and say "yeah i'm coming over and we're gonna refund whatever the hell this is" and the girl starts to be really sincerely apologetic, and honestly had no clue why i didn't want "that dank that they hooked me up with"...
then her boyfriend grabs the phone and starts spouting off "mold? what mold? that shit was fire bro! mold? you know, there's some people out there who PREFER to smoke moldy bud"

apparently this guy has tried every organic trick in the book. he just can't get rid of it. he won't burn sulphur and he won't try any chems like greencure or meltatox. they say they've doubled ventilation but they blame the outside sea air on the RH levels and consistent problem.

no, the best way is to figure out why PM is starting in the first place bc obv the conditions are conducive to it's growth, which has been explored apparently, or, find a new strain that is better suited to the humidity. if nothing works, organic PM controls work as well as synthetics.

They need an air prep room- even a small one. The air needs to be dehumidified in there BEFORE it goes into the intake. Similar to my shed grow- where during the winter I have to heat the air from outside before it goes into my cab... else I bring 30 degree air into a 70* room... but if they don't care I'd just move on.

Sea level is no excuse. There are guys here on icmag running rooms in every imaginable condition.
