but what if walt does really awesome? what if he exceeds expectations?

i think walt should just rob that lab blind and dip the fuck out. they like meth in places other than ABQ, too :joint:

Walt should work the three months, at the 2 month mark ask for 2 of the 3 million, and at the end of the third, put a couple slugs in gus and head out.

so, what the hell is gus' job, exactly? he's in charge of northern operations...so is he a cartel guy? or just a guy that was forced into business with the cartel? does gus run a gang? like what the hell?

the 1492 sticker was classic :joint: it was because he was a native american, i think lol

the lab assistant and walt aren't gay for each other lol, they just have a bromance! you're telling me you never hit it off with someone that you just met?

the lab assistant also said that he was tired of the rat race, made more money with the meth, and that he was a libertarian (LOL!) and it didn't matter if he made it or someone else, these tweekers are gonna get it one way or another. at least his is safer and additive-free!

but you're right, i think gus has him learning walt's methods (doesn't look like he needs much help though... x-ray crystallography? majored in organic chem? about as old as walt? i think he's more than qualified) and gus/labtech wont have any use for walt anymore. Maybe walt will realize that his assistant is advancing too rapidly, and start to get jealous and take him out in a lab accident or something.

I dont for one second believe either of these characters are gay, but something about the vibe between the two of them, they're both so nice, and agreeable, and educated, and relatively cultured, sipping their gourmet coffee, just made me think, alright, we get it, they LIKE each other.
The assistant, Gale, he has a good reason for why he's doing what he's doing. I get it, what he's doing is actually safer for the consumer, blah blah.
Still, just the sheer illegality of it makes me wonder. If he ever gets caught, he's looking at basically spending the rest of his life behind bars (manu/dist 200+ lbs of meth). And why Gus would trust a nerd, I mean, cmon, you think if Gale was ever caught he wouldn't flip on Gus in a heartbeat? Hmm, spend the next 50 years in a cage or flip? Which is why i think Gale has a greater role in the organization than just lab assistant. But I could be wrong.

Well, he owns a resturant chain and a cleaners. One might think that he also heads a cartell North of the border. The dudes creepy as hell. And probably very powerful. He also talked Walt into cooking, and the axe bros. outta killing Walt. He has the gift of gab obviously. But he's still very very creepy.

well, we did JUST meet him..i'm sure he has some interesting back story :joint:

but yeah, maybe he's not worried about the jail time, if the money's right? maybe he had some concerns about it, but gus reassured him! basically: dont act like walt, and things wont get hot lol...

he IS a libertarian, maybe he started with growing weed and making LSD and just graduated to the big money? he was tired of the rat race

What I want to to know is who was that dead woman at the beginning, and why did the axe brothers kill her?
I thought they were just using her house and she had the misfortune of being there when they came, but who knows, maybe there is more to it.

Yea, I guess they just needed a place to do their Santa Muerte worship thing.

I think these 2 are Vince's version of Anton Chigurh. Chirgurh ofcourse, being the best killer charactor of our time, possibly alltime.

hes is incharge of USA side of the cartel so he probably runs the prison gangs and distribution networks. While the head on the mexi side takes care of production and smuggling.

Walt being in the position that he is in now, i can't imagine Hank or the DEA ever catching up with him - Plus if I remember correctly, Gus doesn't poop where he eats - he has the stuff sold off in surrounding areas.

Plus now Hank has allot more to worry about - Can't wait to see how that folds out next episode. The look on his face at the hospital after he found out he got played - was priceless.

I loved the ending of this episode.

My hypothesis, would be that hank at some point in the story - becomes very important to Walt, or vice versa. I doubt they will kill hank off so early- if at all.

I also can’t wait for Walt to finally find out about the mark on his head -

Mexinators will be DEA or random death.

Subsequent plot development based on Walt and Jessie's separate but related ventures

Gus has already made it clear that after 3 months, they can have Walt.

The axe brothers will still come after Walt eventualy. Because Don Salamada said to.

What I want to to know is who was that dead woman at the beginning, and why did the axe brothers kill her?

I think Gus was being disingenuous when he said that he only needed him for three months. Towards to the end of the episode he is already pushing the axe bros in a new direction in an effort to preserve Walts well being. Walt is worth way too much money to Gus. I think this will have interesting implications when they continue to develop the story-line. Gus vs. the cartels FTW.

all good points, i'm agreeing with all except the first one:
jesse is now producing or attempting to produce (we know he has some, but now his lab is fucked up) walt's blue meth, and now its just as good (badger reacted the same way tuco did when he first tried heisenberg's batch lol), and he's going to be selling it in and around the ABQ, yo. so that'll keep the case alive, and jesse's association with walt will continue to cause zany and wacky adventures on a weekly basis haha

The dead woman was from the previous episode. She was the lady in the handy van that the mexinators ripped off to haul the Don to the meet with Gus.
