I need info on J1?

i have the j-1 subrob posted pics of mine looks identical. i reversed the plant and am going to cross it to some chems ogs blue dream etc.. for some nice fem hybrids. i also crossed it to a nice larry og male. its a quality unique different strain yields well to.

While I'm definitely not a fan of reversing at all I do think that J1 is probably a much better candidate than many other strains out there based on what I saw when growing...no hermies, high resin production, bulletproof, strong vigor, etc...except for that crappy general structure...lol. I think there's gonna be some killer females and males from the J1 x Shadow Haze cross. The weakness there is with the Metal Haze mom but using the Shadow Haze bx1 male might have helped solve that problem.

i did reverse in the proper manner using sts and ionized silver. simply inhibiting ethylene production by binding up copper so no herm tendencies promoted like when people use light stress etc.. anyways i think blue dream*j-1 should be a winner as well as super lemon haze*j-1 and some chem and og crosses.

Well if you're asking I'd skip the Casey Jones and go straight to the SSSDH.

You can do whatever you want. You won't really know until you start working with the genetics, both the cut and any males, test the offspring, make F2's and test those. Ya know checking dominant and recessive stuff. You could do what you originally said and before you know it lose traits you were trying to fix. If you wanna just chuck pollen I'm sure you'll get some good stuff.

Only problem I see with the SSSDH cross is it may stretch to the moon...LOL! Should be pretty potent and damn tasty though. If you get a fat yielding male should help the offspring.

CJ is pretty good...I had Shmoe's cut. Was a great yielder but not something I kept at that time. Am guessing it's not particularly stable but could be wrong. Billy Goat did a great job creating the Oriental Express, especially his Thai male selection, and H3ad finished it off nice. I'm sure H3ad also spent time looking for a solid OE fem and appropriate dad.

For those that don't know the formal name of J1 x Shadow Haze (J1 x (Metal Haze x Metal Haze x C99)) is Full Metal Jack as voted on in a poll elsewhere. Somehow this tard got a hold of those beans . The Shadow Haze pollen come from a top line breeder who's been growing for 35 years and breeding for 20

I'd vote for Tahoe, Blue Dream, Super Lemon Haze and Chem 4. Not familiar with a few of those. DUD is kind of a watered down Chem 4. I'm not a GDP fan. That fire og x the white might be interesting and possibly it would add some much needed flavor to that potent but flat smelling/tasting (IMO) Abusive.

It'll be interesting to see when you reverse it what traits will be dominant in the S1's considering it's ((NL#5 x Haze) with some Skunk #1 bred in) x Skunk #1) and best I can tell all the strains used were older versions so maybe some real gems will pop up in the S1's. You are gonna make some S1's...right?

I want to see if I can improve upon her. I'm not a pollen chucker, period. I'm a true breeder with the intention of improving the cannabis plant species. I am also a Organic chemist, Botanist, Psychopharmacologist, who just happens to specialize in cannabis.

I still wonder sometimes 'which' J1 you have after Snype's input? I think we're talking about the same cut though. As for the J1 cut I'm used to then improve the structure and tweak the high type just a bit. If you can get something similar that goes at least 10 weeks then think that's pretty much good. If Full Metal Jack goes 10+ weeks then achieved what I wanted to. Iron Cindy, which is Metal Haze x C99, would go about 9 weeks and never saw anybody find anything close to 9.5 weeks, was BOMB. After a nice cure it was very close to the Metal Haze mom. Hopefully that Shadow Haze dad will deliver the goods. I've seen a lot of J1 plants that grew 2 dimensional...side branching left and right and not around so when you put the whole cut plant down it lay perfectly flat...if that makes any sense.

I think she'll make some very solid S1's. If I was still growing I'd make some S1's.

Oh yeah...worked with an organic chemist on 1 project and quite an interesting character. Met another recently who owns a nice vineyard and also a different kind of person for sure.
